Apparently it’s National Chili Day which means nothing to me because (a) I never know when any of these food holidays are, (b) I don’t understand why they exist, and (c) I believe every day of the year should be a celebration of chili. 🙌🏻 But the good news is that seeing all the chili posts reminded me of this SLOW COOKER WHITE CHICKEN CHILI! On the weekend menu: this Cilantro Lime Cashew Aioli is KILLER on fajitas, slathered on toast, used as salad dressing, or whatever else you can think of! Here we have it paired with jackfruit fajitas using grain-free Siete tortillas 🌮 This Cilantro Lime Cashew Aioli is tart, nutty and fresh, adding bright flavors to any meal or snack 🥑⠀ ⠀ Recipe:⠀⠀ 1 cup dry cashews (soaked overnight) ⠀⠀ 3 cloves garlic⠀⠀ 1/2 bunch cilantro⠀⠀ 1 large lime⠀⠀ 1/2 avocado ⠀⠀ 1/2 tsp sea salt⠀⠀ 1/4 - 1/2 cup water⠀⠀ ⠀ Soak cashews overnight, then add to blender or food processor with 1/4 cup water and the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add more of the water if it is too thick to blend. If needed, add more salt or lime to taste. This aioli is best when fresh, but can be stored in an air-tight container in the fridge for 3-5 days, or in the freezer if you have extra. This recipe makes about 2 cups 💛

I’m back to posting recipes again! I’m a bit nervous about putting myself out there and I’m not sure what my goal will be, but at least I’ll have a place to keep track of all my yummy recipes and share them with you! Although my recipes will often be paleo, gluten free, dairy free, Whole30 and refined sugar free, I will also have family favorites my kids love, which do not fit the above description. I will still keep those recipes as healthy as I can. 😉 . The recipe I’m sharing today is ridiculously easy. It’s a one stop shop at Trader Joe’s for the ingredients, minimal work and very tasty! I call it ‘Whole30 Veggie Sausage Pesto’. Roast the lightly salted vegetables and sausage in the oven, add the already made pesto and that’s it! Super flavorful and simple. Save this post and make this recipe! {Refined Sugar-Free, Dairy-Free, Keto, Gluten-Free approved} ⠀ 1/2 cup coconut butter, melted 1/4 cup virgin coconut oil, melted 1/4 cup cacao butter, melted 1 Tbsp. @_healthforcesuperfoods lucuma powder 1 Tbsp. @freshcapmushroom cordyceps 1-2 tsp. turmeric (depending on how much you love turmeric) 1 tsp. vanilla extract or 12 drops vanilla essence 1-2 tsp. ginger powder (depending on how much you love ginger) 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/8 tsp. mineral salt (or more to taste) 1/8 tsp. black pepper 1/4 tsp. cardamom Stevia or @lakantosweetener to taste ✔️Melt the coconut butter, coconut oil and cacao butter in a saucepan on low until just melted. ✔️Transfer to a blender and blend all ingredients together until smooth. ✔️Taste and adjust flavor to your liking. ✔️Pour into chocolate molds. ✔️Let set up in the refrigerator until set (about 20-30 minutes) ✔️Pop-out of molds and transfer to a container. ✔️Store in the fridge for a quick, satisfying treat!😜💕🌸

REESE'S CUPS🌈⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ MUST TRY + Save For Later:⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ What’s inside:⁣⁣⁣ ▪️1 heaping coconut oil, melted⁣⁣⁣ ▪️2 tsp peanut butter, melted⁣⁣⁣ ▪️vanilla extract ⁣⁣ ▪️1 scoop vanilla superfood/protein ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ How To Make Them: ⁣⁣⁣ ▪️Mix the melted coconut oil + vanilla extract with the protein powder. If it is too thick, add a little more melted coconut oil.⁣⁣⁣ ▪️Place paper liners in a muffin tin.⁣⁣⁣ ▪️Cover the bottom of each liner with a thin coat of the mixture.⁣⁣⁣ ▪️Place pan in the freezer for 5 minutes.⁣⁣⁣ ▪️Remove from freezer and spoon a thin layer of melted peanut butter on top of the hardened mixture.⁣⁣⁣ ▪️Cover the peanut butter with the remaining of the mixture + add the toppings of your choice. ⁣ ▪️Place pan in the freezer for 30 minutes.⁣⁣⁣ ▪️Remove paper liners from peanut butter cups.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ & enjoy.

Chocolate Almond Squares 🍫 . I was in the mood (once again) for a healthy chocolatey treat with some crunch so I created these squares inspired by @middaysquares. They aren’t QUITE as delicious as midday squares but they are still pretty dang solid! 🙌🏼 . As always they are super simple to make, low in added sugars, gluten free, dairy dairy free and paleo friendly! . I have added the @bendbeauty Marine Collagen + CoFactors for some extra skin and overall health benefits. This is my all time favorite collagen because of their amazing formula. If you’re interested in trying it for yourself I have a link in my bio. I take the strawberry flavored one in the am with water and add the unflavored one in pretty much all my healthy raw treats since the product cannot be heated because of the added vitamin C. . Alright, here the recipe: . INGREDIENTS Layer 1: 〰️1 cup of almond flour 〰️1/2 cup of chopped almonds 〰️10 medjool dates 〰️1/4 cup of @organictraditions cacao powder 〰️2 Tbsp of @bendbeauty Marine Collagen + CoFactors 〰️Pinch of sea salt . Layer 2: 〰️1/2 cup of @organictraditions cocoa butter 〰️1/2 cup of @organictraditions cacao powder 〰️2 Tbsp of maple syrup . DIRECTIONS 1️⃣Blend in the food processor all of the ingredients for layer 1 and pat down in a square pan lined with parchment paper. . 2️⃣Melt the cocoa butter, cacao powder and maple syrup together then pour over top of the first layer. . 3️⃣Place the square pan on the freezer to allow for everything to set than cut in 16 squares. Y’all. It has been A DAY over here. But I baked cookies for the first time in a long time! ☺️ And they’re my favorite attempt at the Dark Chocolate Orange Cookies I’ve been after! I want to get these to the blog ASAP, but tbh it’s chaos here with a newborn and toddler and I have almost zero “free” time to blog. I don’t have a nanny or caretaker for my kids, so it’s just the three of us all day every day. And let’s just say it took some serious finagling (and a little bit of bribing) to get these photos taken today 🥴 Sometimes I wonder how luxurious it must be to have whole days of alone time to bake and test and shoot and edit and write. After all, I started my blog after my girl was born (staying home inspired me!). Getting recipes to the internet is a lot of work. I’m doing what I can in this season of adjustment, but it’s definitely not as much as I’d like. I’m hoping to find my groove again soon and crossing my fingers baby starts to sleep longer than 2 hour stretches at night 🙏🏼😅

You guys, we're friends right? I feel like I can be honest about the fact that it's a certain time of the month over here + your girl is craving all of the chocolate. You know that I'm all about taking care of my physical health, but I also care about my emotional + mental health too. And the healthiest me right now needs some cookie dough.⠀ .⠀ My Paleo Cookie Dough Bites check all of my boxes. Because they're made from REAL ingredients (good for my body), but they're also sweet + chocolatey + full of satisfying healthy fats (good for all of me). Plus, unlike other no bake cookie dough, you won't find any chickpeas near this one because 1. legumes hurt my belly + 2. chickpeas don't taste like cookies 🙄 Here's how I make these perfect little, no bake treats 👇⠀ .⠀ Stir together 1/2 cup of cashew butter, 2 tablespoons maple syrup + 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. (You can use any nut butter you have, but the cashew is more true to cookie dough flavour!)⠀ .⠀ Next, add 1/2 cup of almond flour, 2 tablespoons of coconut flour + 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Mix everything together until a thick dough forms. It'll be stiff, like cookie dough!⠀ .⠀ Finally, stir in 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, chopped chocolate bar or any candy that you like (hello, nut butter cups 😍). Then, form it into bite sized balls or eat it straight with a spoon + thank me later! 😏⠀ .⠀ P.S. these are best enjoyed in PJ's with a side of Netflix. Just saying.

Welp. What usually crashes my healthy lifestyle didn’t get me this time. (I will give you a hint it happens once a month) I did become less active but I didn’t stray with my new eating habits. I have found ways to feel voids and have seen a noticeable difference with being dairy and gluten free. Especially after receiving my lymphatic massage today. One question I got was ok so you are dairy and gluten free, what do you even eat Jessica? Well I have tons of options. Tons of options much more healthier as well! My biggest void to fill was cheese! I love cheese! And on anything and everything! I smear this queso dip I was introduced to on almost everything! I also love wraps/ sandwiches and this egg wrap works perfectly! My sweet tooth is easily satisfied by a smoothie I make for myself and the kids and add some honey for an extra sweet taste! I got pretty bad at consuming my veggies but found dipping some green pepper in pizza sauce gave that pizza taste I love! I also have a few other amazing suggestions with veggies and an air fryer! This is a journey. 🥥BANANA + COCONUT CAKE🥥 Wet ingredients bowl. - 5 small mashed bananas - 1/2 cup coconut sugar - 1/4 cup maple syrup - 2 tablespoons peanut butter - 2 tablespoons date syrup - 2 organic eggs 〰️ combine all of your wet ingredients with an electric mixer for a minute or two until everything is well mixed together. Dry ingredients bowl. - 1 cup of oats - 1/2 cup of buckwheat - 3/4 cup gluten free baking flour - 1 tablespoon of baking powder - 1 tablespoon cinnamon - 3/4 cup desiccated coconut - A crack of salt 〰️ pop the oats + buckwheat into a blender or food processor and blend to create a flour mixture - put your homemade flour into a bowl and combine with all of the other dry ingredients with a gentle whisk. 〰️ mix your flour bowl in with the wet ingredients- once everything is well combined, pop the batter into a greased and lined cake tin and top with sliced banana, buckwheat groats + a sprinkle of coconut sugar to caramelise the top of the cake. 〰️ pop them into a preheated oven of 180 degrees for 30/35 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Leave to cool slightly on a cake rack. Best served slightly warm from the oven with a good cup of tea, enjoy x

Don’t worry they still taste good💁🏼‍♀️ What you need~ . . 1 cup cassava flour 1/2 cup cashew butter 2 eggs 1-2 tbsp maple syrup 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup coconut oil 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp baking powder @enjoylifefoods Chocolate chips-I never measure I kinda just go for it haha . . Mix all the wet ingredients first then add in the dry and whisk it all together! Add in the chocolate chips and use a spatula or spoon to stir~line a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes-I took mine out at 11👌🏼 Let cool then enjoy🥳 . . Nisam ga ranije snimila jer sam cekala novu posiljku Sea Moss-a, odnosno irske mahovine, koja nikako da stigne iz Uk. Ovo je glavni sastojak cokoladnog shakea i naziva se jos i prirodni kolagen, koji je vrlo bitan za ‘napumpan’ izgled lica. Gluten and Dairy Free Lemon & Oregano Chicken Bake Hello everyone This recipe is actually a reminder of Christmas holidays which seem ages away now. I made this in between Christmas and New Year and it disappeared into that place in my computer with all the other recipes waiting to be typed up. Since then I’ve actually made a variation of it which I’ll share in the coming weeks. My sister liked the sound of the recipe but isn’t a fan of lemony things. Whole30 pesto chicken bake 😍 . . I’m a huge pasta lover and am always looking for creative ways to get my pasta fix with Whole30 approved options! This dish is perfect for Sunday meal prep because it’s baked a casserole dish and keeps in the fridge all week. Grab the full recipe below and head over to my IGTV to watch my demo of it! 😊 . . INGREDIENTS - 4 cups roasted spaghetti squash - 2 cups shredded chicken (I like to buy and break down a rotisserie chicken) - 1 batch of my Whole30 pesto or a limited ingredient store bought option like the Kale and Cashew variety from @traderjoes - 2 eggs, whisked - 1 Tsp each of garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper . . DIRECTIONS 1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 casserole dish with cooking oil (like avocado). 2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well with a spatula to create a uniform consistency. 3. Transfer ingredients to your casserole dish and spread to create one layer to ensure even cooking. 4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are browned and all eggs are cooked through. 5. Allow to cool before cutting into 6 servings. You can eat immediately, store in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze individual portions for up to a month. . . Summer Squash Egg Nests 🍳 Something light but satisfying to start your day To make: Sauté spiralized squash (I just use a potato peeler) and a handful of halved cherry tomatoes in oil over medium heat. Use a fork to swirl squash into nests and crack egg in center, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. When the whites are mostly cooked add a splash of water to the side of the pan and cover with lid to allow the tops to cook (can also skip this step if you want a more runny egg). Top with parsley or any other herb in your fridge that you need to use up!

In a bid to right this terrible wrong, may I present my Cappucino cake with white choc and cinnamon frosting? An airy coffee sponge sandwiched with a gorgeous cinnamon-flecked, white ‘choc’ buttercream. happy Friday eve! sorry it’s been a minute since I’ve popped in. My son got hit hard with influenza A this last weekend and my husband was traveling so needless to say it’s been a rough week around here and I’ve been flat out exhausted and haven’t had much to say! BUT he is finally fever free and looking like we will be able to venture out of our house soon! Hallelujah 🙌🏻 In the meantime I have been wanting to share what I have everything single morning for my snack 👉🏻 PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE DOUGH PROTEIN BARS! They are so freakin good so make them ASAP and thank me later. . •RECIPE• 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter 1/4 cup Maple Syrup 3/4 cup Peanut Flour 1 cup Oat Flour 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder (I use @healthwarrior for vegan or @proteinmilkshake for whey) 3 or 4 tablespoons Baking Stevia 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 cup Mini Chocolate Chips Water (slowly add water till it combines) 1. Combine all ingredients until mixed well. 2. Place in foil lined 8x8 and let chill for a couple hours. Cut into 8 bars. *These freeze well so I make a double batch and wrap each one in foil to freeze. Can you imagine that I took the second picture only 6 months ago?😱 I practiced every week since and I'm proud to see a difference. • On another note, I had a really productive day🙌🏻 Made 2 recipes and did 5 shootings! 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗼 𝗥𝗮𝘀𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗸𝗲⁣⁣ ⁣ ⁣This cake is so incredibly moist and sweet and everything perfect. The rasberry filling is to die for and the icing literally topped this whole desert off. You would never know this was grain free, dairy free or refined sugar free. This has permanently made it into my recipe book :)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬⁣⁣ Dry⁣⁣ ♡ 3 cups almond flour⁣ ♡ 1 cup tapioca flour⁣ ♡ 1/4 cup coconut flour⁣ ♡ 2 cups coconut sugar⁣ ♡ 1/2 cup raw cocoa powder⁣ ♡ 2 tsp baking soda⁣ ♡ 1tsp salt⁣ ⁣⁣ Wet⁣⁣ ♡ 4 large eggs⁣ ♡ 1 1/2 cups coconut cream⁣ ♡ 1 cup water⁣ ♡ 1/2 cup coconut oil⁣ ♡ 2 tsp vanilla extract⁣ ♡ 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬⁣⁣ ♡ Preheat oven to 350°f⁣ ♡ Grease 3 8" cake pans and line the bottoms with parchment paper⁣ ♡ Add all dry ingredients together in a very large bowl and mix together⁣ ♡ In a separate medium-large bowl whisk together wet ingredients⁣⁣ ♡ Pour wet ingredients into dry and beat for 2 minutes⁣ ♡ Evenly divide batter between 3 pans ⁣⁣ ♡ Bake 28-30 minutes (until toothpick comes out clean)⁣⁣ ⁣♡ While cake is baking, make the raspberry filling⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣𝗥𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴⁣⁣ 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬⁣⁣ ♡ 3 cups raspberries⁣ ♡ 1/2 cup of honey⁣ ♡ 2 tsp lemon juice⁣ ♡ pinch of salt⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬⁣⁣ ♡ Stir together 3 cups raspberries, sugar, salt, and lemon juice in a medium saucepan over high heat.⁣ ♡ Begin to mash raspberries with the back of spoon⁣ ♡ Stir frequently until mixture comes to a boil⁣⁣ ♡ Continue to cook, stirring, until mixture thickens (7-10 minutes)⁣⁣ ♡ If you want it thicker, add small amounts of cornstarch until desired thickness is achieved⁣ ♡ Stir in another 1-2 cups raspberries and set aside to cool⁣ ♡ If seeds are a no go, strain with cheesecloth⁣ ♡ Once the cake has completely cooled, begin stacking process⁣ ♡ Apply rasberry filling to first cake top (making sure not to go to the edge as it can spill over once the second cake is placed) ⁣⁣ ♡ place second cake on top and apply your last rasberry layer⁣⁣ ♡ apply last cake and frosting⁣ w/ Avocodo Choc Frosting ⁣ *Frosting Recipe In Instagram Highlights*
