Here is a quick Chicken fry recipe do try!!!! . . . Aasamese Chicken Fry . . . Preparation time 15 mins Cooking time 15-20 mins Serves 2 Main Course . . . . Ingredients 1 tbsp oil 10-12 baby potato, cut into half salt to taste ½ tsp turmeric 1 baby leaf 2-3 cloves 3-4 cinnomon 2-3 red chilies, broken 1 tbsp ginger garlic, chopped 1 cup onion, chopped 500 gms chicken, boneless, cut into 1 inch cubes (Preferably take chicken with bones) 1 tsp red chili powder ½ tsp cumin powder ¼ tsp turmeric 8-9 cherry tomatoes cut into half or (1 medium tomato, chopped) 1 tsp garam masala . . . . Process 1.In non stick curry pot add oil and stir fry baby potatoes with turmeric until they turn light pink in color. Remove & keep aside. 2.Into same pan add whole spices and cook for a minute. Now add ginger garlic, onion and cook until it turn soft. Now add chicken pieces, cumin powder, red chili powder and turmeric and cook for 3-4 minutes. Kepp stirring occassionaly. 3.Now add cherry tomatoes, garam masala and half cup of water or stock. Make these delicious desi style Mexican veggie bean tacos at home in a jiffy! These taste absolutely amazing. I’ve used readymade taco shells but you can also make them at home using half & half maida, maize flour, salt, pepper, ajwain, mixed dried herbs & oil. Serves : 5-6 people. Ingredients : For the bean stuffing : 500gms rajma (soaked overnight, boiled & strained. We take half of the rajma and crush them coarsest and we keep the other half whole). 2 tbsp olive oil 6-7 cloves of finely chopped garlic 2 finely chopped onions 1 large finely chopped capsicum 3 large finely chopped fresh tomatoes 1 tbsp chilli flakes 1 tbsp mixed dried herbs/oregano 3-4 tbsp tomato ketchup 3-4 tbsp pizza pasta sauce/salsa sauce (optional) Salt to taste For assembly : 10-15 small taco shells 1 large onion (finely chopped) 200 gms cabbage (finely chopped) 2 tomatoes (finely chopped) 200 gms grated processed cheese Some mixed dried herbs You can also add some guacamole, a touch of salsa & sour cream. Method : For the stuffing : 1. In a pan heat oil. Add the garlic and sauté. Add the onions with a pinch of salt and sauté until golden brown. Now are the capsicum and mix. 2. Add the chopped tomatoes + ketchup + pizza sauce + herbs + salt and mix well. 3. Now add the full rajma and mix. Add in the crushed rajma and mix. Add some water if needed and mix well. Cook on a low flame for 6-7 mins. Stuffing is done. For assembly : Add some of the stuffing along with the onions, tomatoes, cabbage and cheese inside a taco. Nouveau jour, nouveau repas! Si il y a bien une cuisine que j’aime c’est l’asiatique. 🍜 . Entre sushi, bobun, goreng, et j’en passe, il y a de quoi faire! Et surtout, elle et facilement adaptable aux (très) petits budgets! 💸 . Quand je ne sais pas trop quoi faire, avec ou sans viande, puisque c’est aussi facilement adaptable au végétarien. Vous pouvez même faire cuire la viande et la laisser dans un plat à part pour que ceux qui veulent s’en rajoute et ceux qui n’en consomme pas mange la même chose que vous sans préparation supplémentaire! Je prend des nouilles, des légumes et le tour est joué! 🤷🏼‍♂️ . Ici, j’ai pris du poulet que j’ai fais mariner 12h dans un mélange moitié sauce soja et huile de sesame (vous savez maintenant que j’ai une passion pour cette huile!) 🍗 . J’ai fais 2 œufs en omelette, 1 carotte râpée à l’économe, 1 branche de brocoli, 1 gros champignon, 1 morceau de concombre 🥗 . Pour le dressage, je place mes nouilles au fond de plat et je les mélange rapidement avec un peu de sauce soja. Et je place tous les accompagnements autour du plat 🍥 . Ce plat représente : 103,5g glucides / 34,5g lipides / 55,9g protéines (937 calories) ⚡️ . MAKE THE CHICKEN: Preheat the oven to 425°F. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. In a medium bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger and garlic. 2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the chicken to the skillet, skin side down, and sear until evenly browned, about 5 minutes. Flip the chicken skin side up. 3. Pour the broth mixture into the skillet and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat for 2 minutes. Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is fully cooked, 15 to 17 minutes. 4. Who is with me??? . Sometimes it's toooooooo hot to even take them to the park past 10am. This summer heat is haaarssshhh 😬 To beat the heat we do make homemade popsicles alot! They really are super simple and have alot less nasties in them like the ones you buy from a shop... and the kids love them just as much! . There are SO MANY different varieties you can make and pack in the goods.. you would never think these would have avocado in them and my kids dont eat avocado.... but they do now 🤣 . Some other popsicle tips: . ☆ Layer different flavours or swirl them for a fun effect. ☆ Use natural organic yogurt, coconut cream, or banana for a creamy Popsicle. ☆ Use 100% homemade juice for a transparent effect and decorate with larger cuts of brightly coloured fruit such as strawberries and kiwifruit. ☆ If you don’t have molds, use small cups and pop sticks . #summerholidays #themeaningfullife

Homemade Pad Thai 🥢 Pad Thai is one of my all-time favorite meals, but I had never tried making it at home before. It was super easy and delicious! I cooked cubed chicken breast, garlic and sliced red bell pepper in oil until the chicken was done. While that was cooking, I made the brown rice pasta. When the chicken and veggies were ready, I added two beaten eggs to the pan and scrambled it all around. Then added the noodles, roasted peanuts, and Pad Thai sauce (which I bought at @HEB). I topped it all off with cilantro, green onion, and some fresh lime wedges. Vegan cookies are a struggle to make. They consistency is always off, they sometimes taste weird. Anyways, I actually made some bomb.com cookies yesterday. These did have dairy (in the chocolate) but that was it. I was using up what I had. It could easily be swapped for vegan chocolate. But they turned out so good! I was very impressed with myself. On top of that this was a completely no buying recipe. Easy Vegetarian Appetizers 🥑 These are a very lazy and easy versions of classic stuffed mushrooms and jalapeno poppers made with all vegetarian friendly ingredients! Can easily be made vegan by subbing out the cheese for vegan cheese or omitting it all together. Stuffed Mushroom Ingredients 7-8 white mushrooms 1 veggie burger patty Jalapeno Popper Ingredients: 3 fresh whole jalapeno peppers 1 avocado 1/2c shredded cheddar 1/4tsp paprika 1/4tsp onion powder 1tsp lemon juice salt and pepper Instructions: Preheat oven to 375. Remove stems from mushrooms and place caps on a baking sheet. Mince the stems and set aside. In a microwave safe bowl heat the veggie burger for 2 minutes. Smash patty and add in the minced mushroom stems and stir. Stuff filling into mushroom caps and pack down. It's that easy! Slice jalapeno peppers in half, remove all stems, seeds and ribs. Set on baking tray with mushrooms, inside facing up. In a bowl combine one mashed avocado, spices, and shredded cheese. Place into a sandwhich bag and snip off the corner. Squeeze filling into each pepper half. Place tray in oven and bake for 25 minutes. Let cool and serve with ranch.
