My kids love it also. But now I try to avoid my kids eating cereals, so I try different types. Today I made this almond porridge, and OMG it is the best I ever had in my entire life! Done in ten minutes. What else you want? The ingredients are for four portions! It is so rich, that youĺl be satisfied after few spoons 😂 - 🗒️ INGREDIENTS 🌿1 cup almond flour 🌿1 cup heavy cream 🌿2 tbsp flaxseed meal 🌿2,5 cup water 🌿1 egg yolk 🌿1 tsp vanilla essence 🌿2 tbsp almond butter 🌿1 tbsp butter 🌿LC sweetener (honey for kids) For topping (optional) 🌿almond slices, almond butter, cinnamon, melted butter - - 👩‍🍳 INSTRUCTIONS 1. In a small pot over medium heat stir almond flour, flaxseed flour, heavy cream, vanilla essence, and water. Keep stirring for around four minutes until the mixture gets thicker. 2. Remove the porridge from heat. Whisk egg in a bowl and continually stirring add the egg into the mixture. 3. Put the pot back over low heat, and stir again for next two minutes. (The egg thickens the porridge once again). 4. Stir in butter and almond butter and remove from heat. 5. We have SO MANY AVOCADOS! This is a good problem to have, but I have to come up with ways to use these gems! We have a large avocado tree in our backyard and if you love avocados you know I really have a MONEY TREE in our backyard! If I were to buy these they’d probably be $2.50 each! Such a blessing to have the tree! But, besides avocado toast and guacamole, what do you make? Today I set out to make a smoothie that turned into a cross between a smoothie and an acai bowl. In my Vitamix I added: 1 cup hemp milk 1 cup frozen wild blueberries 1 cup fresh pomegranate juice (yes, we made this too) 1 banana ½ large avocado 1 tablespoon chia seeds ½ tablespoon hemp hearts ½ tablespoon nutritional yeast 1 teaspoon doTERRA IQmega Omega 3 oil Top with dried apricots, dried cranberries, dehydrated banana, chopped raw cashews, dehydrated raspberries, and of course, a sweet edible flower. So yummy! I’ve been craving acai bowls and this hit the spot! I think it would also be great topped with homemade granola. What do you think?

One of the things I enjoy about traveling is experiencing the different tastes and eating foods that may not be as popular back in the states. Being here in Aotearoa, the traditional ‘boil up’ meal is something I look forward to every time. Although I don’t eat the pork (usually I’ve eaten it when boiled with lamb), I enjoy the watercress, kumara and squash which is my favorite! In fact, did you know that watercress is one of the best nutrient dense foods you can eat??👍🏼 . Nutrient density is a measure of the nutrients a food contains in relation to how many calories it provides. Therefore, watercress is an extremely nutrient-dense food. In fact, it’s ranked number one on the US Centers for Disease Control’s Powerhouse Fruits and Vegetables list. One cup (34 grams) of watercress provides over 100% of the RDI for vitamin K, a fat-soluble vitamin necessary for blood clotting and healthy bones, as well as high amounts of antioxidants and numerous nutrients. . This morning we actually ate leftover dinner for breakfast... watercress and kumara included, although I skipped the toast that the others ate and opted for gluten free muesli and coconut yoghurt.😋 . a lil breakfast action 🥰🧡 huge believer that morning fuel sets the tone for the day. it is definitely my favorite meal of the day. often times I like to prep items beforehand so it’s not too time consuming in the mornings & I can just throw together a plate. this week, I prepped a bunch of hard boiled eggs & veg. bacon. If you’ve noticed, I like to switch between eating veg & meat options, but I don’t follow any specific diet. I just don’t think it should be so black & white or divided, which is why I choose to support positive efforts on both sides. - for this meal I have an organic, pasture-raised boiled egg- look at that color! a good sign of a healthy egg from a rich diet/lifestyle. my ‘perfect’ time when hard boiling is 7 min on the dot- in my opinion gets them JUST right- a little hard, but still jammy. 😋👌🏻 paired w/ some veggie ‘bacon’, sprouted 100% whole grain bread from @stonehousebread, and blueberries for antioxidants & more nutrients. also catch the EBTB seasoning - it’s become a staple lol 🤪

Actually easier than going to the supermarket and buying it. 😁 Also, this cinnamon toast crunch granola is way healthier than the store bought ones which usually contain a lot of refined sugar but not this one! Dessert anyone? Kabocha Squash Yogurt Parfait Ingredients: 1 kabocha squash ~ ½ cup cooked and mashed (1 Green) 2 tbsp Walden Farms Maple Walnut Syrup (½ Condiment) ½ tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice (1 Condiment) 2 tbsp unsweetened almond or cashew milk (⅛ Condiment) ½ cup low fat plain Greek yogurt (⅓ Leaner) ½ ounce chopped walnuts (1 Optional Snack) Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut kabocha squash in half and scoop out the seeds; place cut side down on a lightly greased baking sheet or baking sheet lined with non-stick foil. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until tender. Wait until cool to touch and scrape out the flesh. Mash with a fork. Measure out 1/2 cup and place in a small bowl. Reserve the rest for another use. Mix 1/2 cup squash, maple syrup, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, and milk until combined. Layer half of the squash on the bottom of an 8 ounce glass. Then layer 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt. Then the other half of squash. Then 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt. Top with walnuts. That goes in the fridge and all I have to do in the morning is put some 100 percent apple juice, ice and blend my happy morning away! Cheers!!! My daughter hates eggs. She has for a few years and it kills me Because they are such a good source of protein! She will however eat Greek yogurt, smoothies and these blender muffins! . These are Lifesavers when you’re on the go! And healthy to boot! . Banana oatmeal muffins . 2.5 cups old fashioned oats 2 eggs 1/2 cup honey 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp cinnamon 2 ripe bananas mashed . 1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Place the oats in the food processor and pulse for 10 seconds. Add remaining ingredients in the food processor. 3. Process until everything is mixed together and oats are smooth. 4. Optional add-on of dark chocolate chips or walnuts. 1/2 cup. 5. Spray 16 muffin cups and bake for 18 to 20 minutes Or until toothpick comes out clean. . Enjoy!

What my breakfasts mainly look like. I don’t post so much about breakfast cause I mainly just eat fruits, raw or in smoothies, juices... I like to start my day with a big glass of water and lemon juice, then a 16oz glass celery juice and mid morning a smoothie with fruits only. I got this routine from @medicalmedium 3-6-9 liver rescue and decided to keep it for my everyday life because it was working great. The morning is when you have the most energy and when all the toxins your liver removed are ready to be flushed out. I want to fuel my body with more energy to go through the day and flush out those toxins. If I’m still hungry before lunch I would snack on a apple. And I just repeat everyday. Sometimes when I have more time or when I really crave something in particular I would treat myself to it. I hate protein porridge. 😷 - You can eat porridge without adding protein powder. It’s still healthy. 🙂 - I’m pretty traditional. Oats, milk, water, heat, stir. 🙏🏻 - #proats get a lot of traction. A bowl of oats in the morning is a great way to start the day, and the added protein can help to keep us full. 😬 - But you can get protein from other places. I have high protein yoghurt with mine usually (@arladairyuk Skyr and @fage are 2 faves). 🍓 - You can also just eat them without adding anything. It’s fine. I promise. 🙃 - Whilst it’s an important nutrient, we don’t need to add protein to literally everything we eat. Porridge, pancakes and Mars bars included. - . Extra protein doesn’t automatically make something ‘healthy’ 🤷🏼‍♀️ - (I understand some people may genuinely enjoy the taste. Weirdos 🙄) - Can we all stop pretending that protein porridge is nice now? 🙋🏼‍♀️ - *I actually really dislike protein powder on the whole, purely from a taste perspective. I’ve never found one I enjoy (if you have any recommendations please feel free to share). ⭐️

SIMPLE VEGAN DECONSTRUCTED PANCAKE 🥞 in a bowl 🙌🏼 HIGH PROTEIN and just a few basic ingredients make this a wonderful breakfast/ snack or post-workout meal ❤️ For inflammatory benefits I added turmeric which explains the weird yellow color 😅 . . What’s a deconstructed pancake ?🤪🤔 In Germany 🇩🇪 we call this #kaiserschmarren or #kaiserschmarrn and it’s a traditional austrian dish that’s basically made with the same ingredients than a pancake but once you poured the dough in a pan, you keep stirring it around so it gets fluffy and stays in single pieces. HIGH PROTEIN „Kaiserschmarren“ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - 50g spelt flour - 30g @tropeaka lean Protein Vanilla - 20g coconut flour - 3 tbsp apple sauce - 120 ml almond milk - 1 tsp baking powder - 1 tsp apple cider vinegar - 1 tsp turmeric ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Combine flour, coconut flour, tumeric, protein powder, then add apple sauce and almond milk. Combine apple cider vinegar and baking powder in a small bowl and add it to the mixture. Let the batter rest for 10 min in the fridge, then pour it in a pan with heated coconut oil. Let it fry for some minutes then pull it apart and mix it around until it is fully cooked and browned. Je me suis donc dit que c'était l'occasion de tester le chou fleur en tant que base ! Une idée que j'avais vu passer sur Pinterest et qui me tentait bien ! . Verdict : c'est franchement pas mal du tout ! Je n'avais que du chou fleur surgelé donc je l'ai passé quelques secondes au micro ondes puis c'est parfait ! On ne sent pas du tout le goût par contre il faut rajouter un sucrant. . 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 : Mixer quelques fleurettes de chou fleur, une grosse poignée de framboises surgelés, 1c.a.s de compote, un filet de lait (ici amande) et un peu de sirop d'agave On ajoute le toppings et on déguste ! .
