I've actually never bought the prepackaged "place and bake" type cookie dough before. I'm more of a make from scratch type gal because then I can control the ingredients but I saw this cookie dough from @sweetlorens at the grocery store yesterday and it had pretty good ingredients so I was intrigued! They had three different flavors at my grocery store but I got the fudgy brownie flavor and boy were they delicious! They are also gluten free! I'll stick with making my own cookies for the most part but will keep these in mind for when I want cookies quick! Do you usually make from scratch or use prepackaged/box ones?? These here are loaded with protein and healthy fat! 1/2 cup creamy almond butter 3/4 cup cake batter @muscleegg 1tbl agave or honey 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used @biotrustnutrition ) 2 cups rolled oats Almond flour Mix almond butter and muscle egg together till it forms a creamy consistency. Add in agave (or honey) and protein powder and mix well. Add in rolled oats slowly at a time. If consistency is a bit too wet, sprinkle almond flour in till it thickens. Spoon out a portion of the mixture into wax paper, and place in fridge. If you’re looking for a low carb alternative, give this a try by using cauliflower to make this version of fried rice. - - INGREDIENTS: - - 🍚1 head of cauliflower, cut up and stems removed 🍚Turkey bacon 🍚1 tsp Himalayan pink sea salt 🍚Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper 🍚Veggie mix (I used corn pea and carrot mix) 🍚Coconut oil - - INSTRUCTIONS: - - 🍳Preheat pan to medium heat 🍳Using a blender or a food processor, pulse the cauliflower until you get a texture finer than rice. 🍳Pan fry diced up Turkey bacon until crisp on the outside 🍳Put bacon away in container 🍳Pan fry cauliflower with veggie mix. The BEST EVER chocolate super food protein pudding. I’ve been eating this delicious pudding everyday since I first tried it. It makes a great breakfast or evening dessert. I’ve tried a few different iterations of this recipe (and enjoyed eating them all), but I think I’ve perfected it this time. It’s nourishing, full of fiber and protein, and, most importantly, damn tasty. To try it for yourself, combine in a blender 1/2 cup @elmhurst1925 unsweetened walnut milk, 1/4 of a frozen banana, 1/4 of a frozen avocado, 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower rice, 1 scoop of @vitalproteins collagen powder, 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tbsp @sunbutter sunflower seed (or other nut) butter, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1/2 tbsp @sunfood maca powder, a pinch of Himalayan pink salt, a few drops of liquid stevia, and a handful of ice. Blend until smooth. Top with fruit, nuts, unsweetened coconut shreds, or whatever your ❤️ desires. CAKE BATTER PROTEIN FLUFF 🍰 : It’s been a hot minute since I have made protein fluff and honestly I don’t know why... the first bite reminded how freaking amazing it is 🌟 : @kelseyjfit is the original creator of this masterpiece so check her out if you haven’t already! She’s a wealth of knowledge, shows great workouts and has yummy food 😋 recipe ideas for fluffs are also in my highlights! : Cake batter recipe - 180g ice (about 1-1.5 cups) - 30ml funfetti creamer - 30 ml water - 8g SF FF white chocolate pudding mix - 1 scoop @pescience cake pop protein powder *could just do 60ml of almond milk OR use skinny syrup for added flavor 1. Add ice to food processor and blend on high for a minute or until snow like consistency. 2. Scrap sides and add the rest of the ingredients. 3. Blend on high for 3-4 mins or longer for a fluffier consistency. 4. Put in bowl and I like to freeze for 10-15 mins for a more ice cream like texture. 5. Top with whatever you want! Always a winner in workshops 😉 Easy and quick to make.... - soak goji berries for approx 15 mins in warm water (keep a bit of the water) - avocado - ginger powder - juice and zest of orange - dates to sweeten (also soaked if very dry) * optional additions - hulled hemp seeds - lucuma powder Simply add all to a high speed blender and blend until very smooth. Add some of the goji soaking liquid if you need help with the blending. Set for an hour or so in the fridge if you wish. These Chocolate Date Bars are what all my dessert dreams were made of 🥳 Rich, soft and gooey - these babies are gluten free, dairy free, full of healthy fats and fiber, and best of all, there’s no baking required 👉🏻 just set them in the freezer and you’re done! 🎉 They taste almost like a chocolate fig newton with the perfect amount of saltiness. Cut them into tiny bite size pieces for a little treat or indulge in bigger squares just like a brownie 🤩 Here’s the easy recipe: Makes 15 regular squares 30 bite size. 1 C walnuts 1 C almonds 2 C pitted dates 3/4 C cacao powder 1 tsp vanilla 1/8 C water 1/4 tsp salt In a food processor, pulse the walnuts and almonds to a finely ground mix. Set aside into a bowl. Add cocoa powder, salt and vanilla to the bowl and mix together with the nuts. In the processor, blend the dates until they are broken down and form a ball. Remove the ball and add the nut mix back in to the food processor. As you are blending the nut mixture, slowly add in the dates and water in small amounts at a time. It should form into a dough - it should ball up in your hand, if it doesn’t then it is too dry, so add more water. Spoon the mixture into a square baking dish lined with parchment paper and press down firmly and evenly. Sprinkle the top of the brownies with your choice of any nuts, dried fruit or coconut flakes - whatever you choose. VEGAN SALTED CARAMEL SAUCE, a multi-purpose sauce that you can pour on ice cream, waffles, pancakes, brownies, your body, and bathe in 💁🏻‍♀️ the best part about this one is that you can store it in the fridge for a few weeks, and tbh, i think the longer it’s in the fridge, the better it tastes and the thicker it gets. make sure to this recipe! - 3/4 can full fat coconut milk 2 tablespoons tapioca flour (or arrowroot) 1/4 cup coconut sugar 1 tablespoon coconut oil 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup maple syrup 1/2 teaspoon sea salt - in a small pot on the stove, whisk together all ingredients except for the tapioca / arrowroot flour. bring to a light boil, then reduce heat to low and stir gently on and off for about 15 minutes. remove the pot from the heat, and add the tapioca / arrowroot flour, mixing together well so there are no chunks. continue to stir on and off for another 10 minutes, letting it cool. the sauce will thicken only slightly, but will be the best caramel sauce you’ve ever had!! enjoy! #kalejunkie

Berries Banana Muffins😋 ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Amazing as an afternoon snack or even breakfast. You’ll have 12 muffins depends on how big you scoop them. Each muffin has around 130 calories, 6g fat, 23g carb, & 4.5g protein. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ingredients: •2 cup oat flour (or 1 cup almond flour & 1 cup oats) •1 tsp baking soda •1 tsp baking powder •3/4 tsp salt •3/4 tsp cinnamon, optional •2 mashed overripe bananas •1/2 cup raw honey or pure maple syrup •1/2 cup milk of choice •2 tsp pure vanilla extract •1/2 cup berries of choice, fresh or frozen ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Instructions: *Preheat your oven to 180*C. *In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients. *In a separate bowl, whisk the wet ingredients except for the berries. *Pour wet into dry and stir to form a batter. *Very gently add the berries, stirring only enough to incorporate them, so as not to break the berries and turn the entire loaf purple. *The batter should make around 12 muffins. Bake on the center rack for 30-45 minutes depends on your oven. *Let cool completely, then loosely cover so there is room for moisture to escape. *Taste and texture will be much better the second day and even better the third day as it will get sweeter (if they stayed that long😂), and I’d recommend refrigerating after a day, for freshness. I love these Dark Chocolate Almond Freezer Bars! Low sugar treat! 1 cup almonds (I used salted) 1/2 cup nut or seed butter of choice 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted 1/3 cup dark chocolate Dash of vanilla and cinnamon (optional) Blend almonds into a course flour in your food processor. Add nut butter, melted coconut oil, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix until well blended. Pour into a wax paper lined 8x8 inch pan. Melt chocolate and drizzle on top then swirl with a knife. Freeze for at least 2 hours. Cut into 16 squares. Keep in the freezer and eat frozen otherwise they become a bit gritty. Sorry for my late post tonight, haven’t uploaded a savoury post in forever so here is a pick of our simple vegan avocado pesto pasta from tonight. Our basil bush has gone nuts after the rains, it’s huge so I thought it needed some proper trimming down! I plan to blog this recipe eventually but it’s really just pesto mixed with avocado and mixed through some whole meal pasta, even though it’s high in healthy fats it was quite a light dinner for me I think.
