#swiepswoepswap . . Voor de swiepswoepswap van deze maand werd ik gekoppeld aan @miekbax. Leuk, weer een account dat ik nog niet kende! 😄 Met de vele mooie en ook bijzondere (kastanje soep!) recepten op haar site, was het lastig kiezen. En het feit dat ikzelf nergens zin in had, werkte natuurlijk ook niet mee. 🤦🏻‍♀️ . Maar! Uiteindelijk kwam ik een recept van pesto tegen en aangezien ik al besloten had die avond gnocchi van zoete aardappel en pompoen te maken, was ik er aan uit. Ik voegde wat citroensap toe aan het originele recept om het wat dunner en sausachtiger te maken, et voila. 👌🏻

I used @theconscientiouseater ‘s Miso Sauce for this, and it was amazing! Trying out new recipes is always fun, and this one will for sure be made again! What is your favourite sauce? * * Noodles, Veggies & Tofu in a Miso Sauce: 1/3 block pressed and cubed tofu 1 tbs hoisin sauce ~Marinade the tofu in the hoisin and bake at 200°C for 20-25 minutes . Rice noodles Veggies of choice, I went for garlic, ginger, courgette, mushrooms, broccoli and red cabbage Sauce of choice, I went for @theconscientiouseater Miso Sauce Sesame Seeds ~Prepare noodles according to instructions ~Fry the veggies until golden and cooked ~Make the sauce ~Combine everything and serve up! #Protein protein protein! 🍗 Slowly integrating meat back into our daily diet as I learn how to make it and store it properly. Portioned and balanced #lunch plate of grilled chicken, mix daal and roti. Whatever your choice of protein - Best part about having a good balance of protein and carbs on your plate is that it keeps you full and going for much much longer than just a carb heavy plate where you might feel hungry again pretty soon. 1 roti for me, 2 for @sagar_premkumar his plate pictured). Just wanted to quickly mention - some of you DM asking how I get away with eating seemingly so little per meal. Don’t forget that I have a full breakfast, lunch and dinner, and 2 snacks MINIMUM, one between B and L and the second between L and D. Also, most of my meals are around 400 calories, which is a perfect measured amount for my height and weight. Also, we eat out a few times a week so all of the calories combined make up for a very small deficit week on week. It shows in my weight. My progress is quite slow. I ran out of Panko to air fry chicken strips for our guests... so guess what I used?! Good Thins Corn Crackers! I know I don’t shut up about them (I’m not paid to sponsor 🤣) I just love them so much. Today I had the pleasure of touring the Huy Fong Foods factory where they make the very magical one and only Sriracha sauce. It smelled so good in there. I had to come right home and make a delicious tofu stir fry (last slide) to enjoy my complimentary bottle. I was very impressed with the Sriracha empire built by the founder, David Tran. 🌶 😋

Another day in my #90dayslimfastchallenge comes slowly to an end. On day 17 I made a traditional German meal. Beef Rouladen with red cabbage and cauliflower rice. Usually you eat this meal with Bavarian potato dumplings or bread dumplings but not when you eat low carb and counting calories. All together I ate today 1211 calories and water intake is right now at 64oz. I went 30 minutes jogging and burned 211 extra calories. For later I counted already another @slimfast fat bomb in. It's almost the weekend! ✨🙌 - Today I wanted a simple healthy lunch so I threw this quickly together. @traderjoes brown rice, black beans, roasted corn, roasted sweet potatoes, and grilled chicken. - For the black beans, I always buy no salt added organic black beans,drain and wash, then place in a pot and add enough water just to cover the beans, add dried onions or cooked onions, garlic powder,salt, pepper, cayenne, paprika, organic bouillon and jalapeno. - I cook until tender and then mix with a little bit of ketchup for sweetness. - I then top my bowl with Sriracha 😉😏
