Caldo de verduras de pollo ✨ Para estos días de incertidumbre nada como una rica sopita para calentar el alma 🤩 . Necesitas para el caldo de pollo. Un muslo y un piernil de pollo sin piel. 2 litros de agua. 1 varita de apio. 1 diente de ajo. Sal al gusto . En una hoya pon a hervir el agua, cuando esté hirviendo agrega el pollo, apio, ajo y sal al gusto. Deja cocer hasta que el pollo esté listo. Después apaga. . Ingredientes para el caldo: 2 tazas de ejotes limpios y picados. 3 zanahorias picadas. 3 papás picadas en cuadros. 1 tomate picado. 1/2 cebolla picada. . En una olla con el colador cuela el caldo de pollo, deja que el caldo hierva cuando esté hirviendo agrega todas las verduras, deja que el caldo hierva con las verduras para que se mezclen los sabores. Después agrega 1/2 taza de puré de tomate revuelve bien y deja a fuego medio por 10 min. Puedes agregar sal al gusto. . Al servir el caldo puedes ponerle queso fresco y limón. The next time I have contact with the human world 🌎I’m brining these chipotle sweet potato 🍠patties to the partyyyyy! Today I felt like having appetizers all to myself, maybe it’s because I’m craving human gatherings. I asked myself if it was silly & decided, nope. You can top these with whatever you are craving 🤗! . Ingredients: 1 large sweet potato (8oz), dives into small cubes about 2 in. 3 large eggs, beaten 3/4 cup almond flour 1 tsp honey 1 tsp apple cider 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 1/2 tsp paprika 1 tsp chipotle powder 1 tsp sea salt 1/2 cup green onion, finely chopped 2 tbs avocado oil Goat cream cheese, for serving Avocado, for servings . In a food processor place you sweet potatoes cubes & pulse until fine, about as thin as rice. In a large bowl combine: pulsed sweet potatoes, eggs, almond flour, honey, apple cider, green onion and spices. Mix throughly. Heat 2 tbs of avocado oil in pan (I used cast iron for a crisp) the scoop out 1/4c of mixture, placing it on skillet cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove from heat & top with goat cheese, avocado 🥑& whatever else your tummy desire! . ⁣ASIAN SALMON WITH GREENS AND BROWN RICE QUINOA😊👌⠀ ⠀ A great recipe for this lockdown/ social distancing phase as I have used ingredients that anyone would have stocked up on: frozen broccoli, fresh salmon I had frozen, and frozen rice/quinoa I had made previously.⠀ ⠀ Ingredients: ⠀ ⠀ 1 salmon fillet per person⠀ Frozen broccoli (I made the whole bag and kept the leftovers in the fridge)⠀ Leftover rice/quinoa.⠀ Asian marinade: 1/4 cup honey, 2 cloves minced garlic, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, sesame oil, freshly minced ginger, pinch o black pepper and 1 tablespoon of hot sauce of choice which is optional. ⠀ ⠀ Method:⠀ ⠀ Whisk all the ingredients for the Asian marinade until well combined. Place salmon in a ziplock bag and pour marinade into bag. Close bag and gently massage the marinade in the salmon. Pop the bag in the fridge for as long as you can or at least 30min. When ready to cook, put the salmon in foil parcels, pop the marinade on top, seal the parcel and place in the oven at 180o for about 20 to 25 min. ⠀ Meanwhile, heat a frying pan on high heat. Add olive oil or any oil of choice. Add broccoli, garlic salt, onion powder and chilli fakes (optional). Stir on Med to high until lightly browned/charred. Add a little more oil if necessary. ⠀ When the salmon is done, you can either serve as is or grill it a bit for a deeper colour. When I used to think about eating healthy I always thought that I had to fit my meals into a “box”. I had a huge mental list of things I wasn’t allowed to eat vs. the things I was allowed to eat. I “wasn’t allowed” to have burgers, pizza, chocolate, bread, bacon, ice cream, alcohol, fried foods.. the list goes on and on, really. If I did end up eating any of these foods, I’d sometimes spend days afterward feeling disappointed and upset with myself for slipping up. . That being said, I recently decided to really focus on how my body feels throughout the day and let that sort of guide me in deciding what to eat. . Looking at it from that perspective, I’ve noticed that the foods that I have been choosing to eat on a daily basis are geared more towards -satisfaction- and balance (and nutrition, of course). I think there are probably a lot of people out there whose eating habits follow a pattern similar to “I’m hungry, so I’m just gonna eat food” and just eating whatever without giving it a second thought. The key is that we want to ensure that we aren’t getting too little or too much of any one thing such as carbs, protein, fats, etc. and that we are -maximizing- satisfaction. I have noticed that the more satisfied I feel after a meal, the less CRAVINGS I have. I also am far less inclined to over eat (which I used to have an issue with). . The bottom line: give yourself leeway to eat small amounts of certain “unhealthy” foods (in moderation) without feeling guilty, eat foods for satisfaction/energy based off of how you’re feeling and activity level throughout the day, be more mindful of whether or not your food intake is balanced (did you eat mainly carbs all day or has it been a pretty balanced combo of healthy carbs, fats, and protein?), and try to stay within a healthy caloric intake based off of your daily activity. . turkey meatball enchilada bake is the perfect quarantined dinner🌶 quick plan/prep •add 1 lb ground turkey to a large mixing bowl • toss in 1 chopped jalapeño, 1/4 cup cilantro, 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion, 1 egg, 3 tbs coconut flour, salt, pepper & cumin. It is cool down here in Texas today and I always crave root vegetables at that time. I decided to boil and mash instead of roast which is unusual for me but trying new things is good, right?!? I also wanted a meat mixture so sheopards pie is what I came up with. With all this crazy going on beef is hard to come by so I'm eating alot of turkey. With that being said this is turkey sheopards pie with mashed parsnips and sweet potato crust. As y'all know I cannot eat tomatoes because of Auto Immune, I mixed in my no mato sauce with a little bit of coconut aminos. It hit the spot of fatty, creamy, and healthy.

Posted @withregram@organicallyca Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower 'Wings' Ingredients 🍱: 1 medium cauliflower head, broken into florets 1/4 cup hot sauce of choice 1/4 cup tomato puree 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp onion powder 2 Tbsps clarified butter or ghee, melt sea salt and pepper, to taste about 1/4 teaspoon each 3 large eggs, beaten 1/2 cup almond flour, more if needed olive oil or avocado oil spray Carrot sticks and celery, for serving (optional) - DIRECTIONS 👩‍🍳: Lightly spray air fryer basket lightly with and preheat to 380 degrees f. Thoroughly rinse the cauliflower and cut into bite sized florets. Set up 2 dipping station, one bowl with beaten eggs and another shallow bowl with almond flour. Dip your florets first into the egg, allowing the excess to drip back into the bowl, then coat with the almond flour, pressing a bit to make sure they're coated. Arrange the florets into your air fryer basket, leaving some space in between, so that they can crisp up. Spritz your coated florets with cooking spray and cook/air fry for 12-18 minutes, flipping the florets halfway through with tongs until golden and crispy (cooking time will vary depending on the size of the florets and your air fryer). Be careful not to over crowd the basket, as it will take even longer to cook. Cook in smaller batches if you need to. Meanwhile whisk hot sauce, tomato puree, melted butter/ghee and seasonings together in a large bowl. I’ve got the easiest lentil taco skillet for you that uses pantry ingredients. Don’t be alarmed by the long list of ingredients, most of it are spices you probably already have. This comes together super quick if you need a healthy and fast meal…or if you are feeling lazy 🙋🏻‍♀️. It’s incredibly versatile and perfect for leftovers. We used it in tacos topped with some sauerkraut, avocado, and cilantro. Recipe details are below! ⁣ ⁣ Easiest Lentil Taco Skillet (vegan, gluten-free) ⁣ ⁣ 1 Tbsp olive oil⁣ 1/2 onion, chopped⁣ 3 cloves garlic, minced⁣ 1 (15oz) can lentils, drained and rinsed (or 2 cups cooked lentils) ⁣ 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped finely ⁣ 3 Tbsp tomato paste ⁣ 1 Tbsp chili powder ⁣ 1.5 tsp smoked paprika (or normal paprika)⁣ 1.5 tsp cumin⁣ 1/2 tsp garlic powder ⁣ 1/2 tsp onion powder ⁣ 1 tsp dried oregano⁣ 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)⁣ 1/2-3/4 tsp sea salt ⁣ 1 (14oz) can corn, drained⁣ 1 (14oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed⁣ ⁣ In a large skillet on medium high heat, add the olive oil. Switch oven to a high broil setting after removing Sweet potatoes from the oven. Chicken Enchilada-Stuffed Zucchini Boats 🍗⛵️ Full recipe below, send it to a friend who’d love this!⁣ Save this for later 🤩 By: Tasty, Joey Firoben Ingredients (for 1 serving) 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced into ½-inch (1 cm) pieces ½ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper ½ teaspoon chili powder 2 teaspoons olive oil ½ cup salsa (130 g), mild 1 zucchini, cut in half lengthwise, centers hollowed out 2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese 1 roma tomato, diced ¼ avocado, dinced 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro 1 lime, cut into wedges LIME CREMA ½ cup nonfat greek yogurt (140 g), plain 1 tablespoon lime juice ¼ teaspoon salt Preparation Preheat oven to 375˚F (190˚C). Cut zucchini in half and hollow out the centers Add the Greek yogurt, lime juice, and salt together in a small bowl and stir to combine. On a cutting board, season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and chili powder. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Throwback Thursday to meatball Monday when this CHEESY CHICKEN MEATBALL CASSEROLE was dinner 🥰🙌🏻🍝. It’s that ooey gooey comfort food we all need after a long day spent quarantining on the couch (but really —anyone else feeling extra exhausted these days?), and is just as good paired with noodles as it is with zoodles (but why not both?!). My family loved these ballz and I know yours will too! ❤️ - CHEESY CHICKEN MEATBALL CASSEROLE This can be made ahead and frozen. Simply prepare the meatballs, freeze, and then proceed with steps 2 and 3 when ready to eat. - 2 lb. 90-93% lean ground chicken or turkey (note: you can sub 99% lean ground chicken breast, but the meatballs will be more dry and less juicy. Highly recommend going with 90-93% lean) 3 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped 1 tablespoon onion powder 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon sea salt 1/2 cup parmesan 1/2 cup almond flour 1 cup marinara 1 cup mozzarella 1. Combine ground chicken and remaining ingredients, except marinara and mozzarella, in a bowl and mix gently. Using hands, roll into 2-inch balls and set aside. Desde cuando quería preparar esta receta, pensé que iba a ser complicado pero es lo más fácil del mundo y no saben la delicia!🥰 . . . 👩🏼‍🍳Ingredientes: . - 1/2 cabeza de coliflor . -1 cda de aceite de oliva -1/2 jugo de limon -1/3 pza de ajo picado -cilantro (al gusto) . . . . 🥗Preparación: Partes la cabeza de coliflor en trocitos para lavarla y desinfectarla, después la rallas y la colocas en un sartén, agregas el aceite de oliva, ajo y dejas que dore un poquito la col, después colocas el jugo de limón y el cilantro a fuego lento. Por último, dejas que se concentre un poquito y listo! Sirves en un bowl con tus verduras y tu proteína favorita! . . .
