However the main focus should be to lower their body fat percentage. So monitoring your body fat levels with regular progress pictures is a good way to go. . 🥅 If your ultimate goal is to look more muscular and more lean then here is one good way to go about achieving that: . ⛏ If you are above 15% body fat (use the picture above for a rough reference) then aim to cut down until you have clearly visible abs. This can be achieved by eating in a calorie deficit for a prolonged period of time. Lifting weights should be a priority whilst doing this along with eating sufficient protein to help preserve as much muscle mass as possible. . 👆🏼 Once you have reached this you can start to increase your calories putting you into a calorie surplus. Concentrate on implementing progressive overload with your lifts. Continue to lean bulk (gradual increases in weight each week is good) until your body fat rises to around 15% again. Then repeat the process of cutting and bulking. . 🐷 This way you will limit the amount of body fat you acquire and won’t feel like you have let yourself go too far during the bulk. . 🤷🏼‍♂️ Try to stick to one process at a time. Either cutting (calorie deficit) or bulking (calorie surplus). Visada norėjau kitokios blynų variacijos, o ši man buvo viena skaniausių, kokią esu bandžiusi. Tiesiog blynų tešlą pagardinau šaldytomis mėlynėmis, kurie primena vasarą. •60g avižinių miltų (turint avižas galima jas susmulkinti)•1 vidutinio dydžio kiaušinis •puse banano •1 a.š cinamono •1 a.š klevų sirupo arba medaus (jei norisi saldžiau galima idėti dar puse šaukštelio) •200ml augalinio pieno (naudojau sojų) •1 a.š kepimo miltelių •mėlynių (kiek tik nori širdis, bet nepadauginti) Sausus produktus sumaišyti, vėliau įmušti kiaušinį, įdėti trintą bananą ir klevų sirupą arba medų. Vėliau supilti pieną (gali reikėti šiek tiek daugiau) ir maišyti kol pasidarys ne per daug tiršta masė, ji turi būti šiek tiek skystesnė. Pabaigoje sudėti mėlynes. Keto Peanut Butter Cookies 1 cup peanut butter (any but I used Mayver’s Peanut Cacao Spread for these) 1/2 cup sweetener (I used Stevia on this one) 1 egg (room temperature) 1 tsp. vanilla extract Mix all ingredients together until dough is formed. Happy Saturday everyone! After my last crepe post I had a lot of people ask me about the silken tofu custard. I actually share the recipe all the time because I make it all the time, but for those that haven’t found it, these chocolate and vanilla custard tarts use the exact same custard I filled my crepes with in the last post. I use it for everything! And since I’m talking a bit about eating for our hormone phases lately, tofu is great in the follicular phase! Lots of calcium and phytoestrogens for healthy estrogen levels. Here is the recipe : BASE: 1 cup hazelnuts 1 TBSP cacao powder ½ cup pitted dates ½ tsp vanilla paste Pinch cinnamon 1 TBSP coconut oil CUSTARD: 1 packet organic silken tofu Juice half a lemon 2 TBSP maple syrup 1 tsp vanilla paste figs and berries as toppings Method For the base: combine all base ingredients into a food processor and process until mixture comes together and is sticky. You may need to add a little more coconut oil if your hazelnuts are very dry. Press mixture along the base and sides of your mini tart moulds and set aside. For the custard: blend all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Pour custard over tart bases and smooth with spatula and top with berries or any toppings you like Enjoy straight away, no need for setting. Or keep in the fridge for later.

MORRRNING INSTA GANG 🙋🏼‍♀️ today me and the kids have got Carrot cake oats topped with maple and granola 😍 Ingredients 👩‍🍳 2 cups of oats 1 cup of finely grated carrot 3 cups of plant milk 3 tbps of chai seeds (for added protein) 2 tbps of cinnamon 2-3 tbps of maple syrup Pinch of salt Handful of raisins and smashed walnuts (optional) . Is going vegan the healthiest diet? The final part of my Veganuary series! 🌱 ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Firstly, thank you to everyone who has shared and saved this series, my plant based protein post was saved over 60 times which is so nice to see on my little account.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ This month I have been lucky enough to host a lot of talks focusing on plant based diets and a question that kept coming up was if I would recommend veganism as the healthiest diet.⁣ ⁣ I truly believe that as a population we should try to eat more plant based foods;⁣ ⁣ • They are a great source of fibre which in the UK we still don’t get enough of (18g v the recommended 30g) ⁣ • They add variety in to your diet which to me is key to a sustainable way of eating ⁣ • And of course, helps protect the planet!⁣ ⁣ ⁣ But like any ‘diet’ being vegan can purely consist of foods high in saturated fats and salt such as chips, burgers and chocolate so it really does depend on what kind of foods you are eating just as it would if you were a meat eater, on a keto diet or counting macros. ⁣ ⁣ As you have seen from this series, a vegan diet needs to be carefully planned out to ensure you are getting your recommended micronutrients (with some not being as bioavailable compared to meat sources etc).⁣ ⁣ Most health practitioners will say, a balanced diet, full of variety and ideally non-restrictive is a good place to start! Yes, you can do this on a vegan diet but it doesn’t make it a superior diet when it comes to health.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ So whether you are taking part in Veganuary or not, there is no ‘healthiest’ diet out there… unfortunately it isn’t that black and white. Тайм ту вкусняшка😊 ⠀ В моем образе жизни многое поменялось за последние пол года и честно, я очень рада вступившим осознанным изменениям. ⠀ Вкусняшки это то без чего я не представляю свою жизнь, но со здоровым образом стало труднее находить отраду в маркетах. Оставалось только кондитерничать и делать себе конфеты. ⠀ Состав у них не трудный, так что всем это будет по силам. Предварительно замоченные в горячей воде финики + любые орехи(с жаренными конфеты получаются очень вкусными) + топленый в овсяном или любом другом молоке шоколад с добавлением ложки мёда и для ложка какао для более насыщенного вкуса. Вот собственно и весь секрет✨ ⠀ А лично в моем случае это: финики+ обжаренный фундук+грецкий орех+корка апельсина+топленый шоколад Второй вариант: финики+кешью+арахис+кокосовая стружка+топленый шоколад. ⠀ Они конечно довольно калорийны Но такие вкусные!❤️

🌸CREMA DE TOMATE🌸 Ayer preparamos esta deliciosa crema de tomate con queso fresco, caldo de pollo y albahaca. No puede estar más sabrosa y ser más nutritiva, sobre todo por su contenido en licopeno, de gran poder anticáncer 👩‍🍳🌺😍🤩👩‍🔬🤸‍♀️🦸‍♀️🌺💓🌸📸 ✔10 tomates pera ✔ 1 cebolla ✔ 1 diente de ajo ✔ 5 tomates secos ✔ 1 puerro ✔ 1 cucharadita de pimentón dulce ✔500 ml caldo de pollo ✔ 200 g de queso fresco batido 0% ✔1 manojo de albahaca ✔ Aceite de Oliva virgen extra ✔ Sal y pimienta 🌸Primero picamos el ajo, el puerro y la cebolla, en una olla ponemos un poquito de aceite y los salteamos. Pelamos los tomates pera, les quitamos las semillas y los cortamos a cuadritos. As I previously said, eating healthy does not mean strict diet. However, sometimes if you just want have something light but at the same time it must be Deliscious! Then why don’t you opt for a lighter cake? 🎂 I am used to make these lighter cakes every time I crave something sweet, but I don’t want to eat lots of sugar. Sometimes I opt for honey, peanut butter, fruit etc. You have a lot of options to substitute sugar. APPLE & AMARETTI cake❣️ 🚫Eggs, butter. ❗️Lactose free. Recipe: 👉🏼500g apples. 👉🏼50g nuts. 👉🏼200g Wholegrain spelt flour. 👉🏼160g plain flour. 👉🏼450ml lactose free milk. 👉🏼17g baking powder. 👉🏼200g amaretti. 👉🏼70g sunflower oil. 👉🏼1 lemon. Cut the apples and cook them in a non-stick pan until they become soft. Sprinkle with lemon juice and let it cool. In the meantime, mix the flour, baking powder, coarsely chopped nuts and half of the crumbled amaretti. Add milk and oil. Mix well! Pour the mixture into a coated oven tray then the softened apples and the remaining 50g of crumbled amaretti. (Optional: add honey) Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Moroccan beef rolls. Ive been hanging to try this out. I do have moroccan seasoning but I wanted to use my own spices to create the Moroccan inspired taste. I served on home grown pak choy. Used 1 minute steak so it cooks through quick. If your vegan, you could add tofu or quinoa and wrap in bok choy using Moroccan spices to cook the vegetables in. Different and delicious! Eat good through the week 👼, and eat bad on Saturday's 😈. Peanut Butter is a big weakness of mine, but it also has it's pro's 😅. I guess I can call these "Nutella and Peanut Butter filled cookies".
