Today I’m sharing with you3️⃣ important MAKING CREMY THICK SMOOTHIE HACKS 🌀🔑 that will improve definitely your results when you make your smoothies if you apply them !! My smoothies at the beginning didn’t look like this , I was always frustrated asking what I’m doing wrong 🤷🏼‍♀️, however when I started practicing HOW TO MAKE A PERFECT NOCE CREAM , I started following @downshiftology tips and you know what , it worked like magic ✨ . 🔑 Before you start anything WET YOUR CONTAINER!! For making smoothies with creamy texture, always WET the container first ! Blades on wet container blends everything together and inward . The wet container creates super smooth texture of your smoothie 👌🏻 . 🔑 LOAD YOUR CONTAINER PROPERLY in ORDER - ( liquids , dry ingredients, leafy greens /fruits / Veggies , Ice/ frozen ingredients .) . Why does it matter ? 🧐 Having this order helps preventing air pockets preforming around the blade and having the frozen ingredients on the top helps to push the other ingredients down into the blades . 🔑 Use very ripe fruit ! When they are ripe the result of the smoothie texture would be creamy and sweet ! . P.S My blender is @vitamix Pro500 , however you could make a perfect smoothie also in a food processor . . Oats are where it’s at Every. Damn. Day. 💁🏻‍♀️ if I’m not eating them for breakfast you bet I’ll be having them as a snack or for dessert 😂 I always use protein powder as it makes it 10x more filling, however I made this bowl for “eating on a budget” so opted for soya milk as a protein source and to make it more filling instead! Topped with apple, @alpro soya yogurt and of course a square of @lindtuk sea salt velvet edition! Lunch - vegetable and tofu stir fry Pop veggies of your choice in a bowl. Add a splash of olive oil and some herbs/spices of your choice (I used paprika, garlic and tumeric). Pop into a wok and cook for 5 minutes. Add the tofu along with an Oxo cube crumbled. Amaranth Porridge. Hhhmmm. 🤔 Well if you ‘eat to live’ it’s gluten-free (if that affects you) high in protein, fibre and manganese, phosphorus, iron and calcium. If you ‘live to eat’ it’s not the tastiest thing I’ve ever eaten. I won’t be making it again 😝 It’s tastes like a bland but slightly bitter gloop. I had to add the rest of the banana 🍌 to make it tasty. I think I’ll be popping the rest of the bag (see yesterday’s post) and not buying it again. I’ve been teasing you guys with this lasagne recipe for way too long now, and it’s finally here! APPLE PIE PROTEIN OATS 🍎🤤 one of my favourite porridge recipes getting me ready for autumn 🍂 high in protein, healthy fats, and fiber to keep you feeling full and fueled all morning and who doesn’t want a brekky that tastes like warm apple pie 💁🏼‍♀️🤤 the apple pie protein is the key for this recipe to really get that true apple pie flav - those who have been following me for a while know Botanika Blends are my all time favourite protein - its the only protein i can mix straight up with plain ol’ water and it blends with ZERO grittiness and tastes next level (and i have tried pretty much every vegan protein money can buy 😂) lil plus is they add digestive enzymes and probiotics into their proteins so digestion is a breeeeeze baby😍 (i know alot of you can struggle with digesting protein powders) I am over the moon to be partnering with these guys as i have put my own money behind them for so long being a brand and product i truly love, support and consume pretty much every single day it is a dreeeeam to be able to create and work with them 🤩 . I finally made it to week 6! I've always heard people talk about how they are addicted to working out & how they didnt like skipping days. I legit thought they were either crazy or making things up. But I'm starting to get it. I skipped the last 2 days because monday we had A LOT going on and on Tuesday I let my anxiety get the best of me. But I knew if I skipped today, I'd start a habit. A bad habit. Consistency is absolutely key. With everything in life. I take my vitamins & supplements consistently every single day. In my bowl: Crispy Baked BBQ chickpeas + Baked sweet potato chunks + tomatoes + steamed broccoli with a lemon tahini dressing 💚⁣⁣ . I’ll leave the recipe down below for the BBQ chickpeas so you can add to your own bowls/salads or just to snack on! ⁣⁣ . 😋 Don't forget to follow @goveganmeal for update new recipes and find out more something interesting!⁠ 😍 .⁣⁣ Crispy Baked BBQ Chickpeas: ⁣⁣ - 400g can chickpeas, drained, rinsed & dried with a paper towel/clean tea towel⁣⁣ - 1tsp smoked paprika⁣⁣ - 1tsp garlic granules ⁣⁣ - 1tsp coconut sugar OR brown sugar⁣⁣ - 1/2tsp onion powder⁣⁣ - 1/2tsp cumin powder⁣⁣ - 1tsp nutritional yeast (optional but so good)⁣⁣ - pinch of salt ⁣ . . Method:⁣⁣ 1. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan/400F/gas mark 6, line a baking tray with nonstick baking parchment ⁣⁣ 2. But, I had no idea how to do that and still eat healthy, so after about 3 weeks I was tired, cranky, weak and hungry ALL the time. But it’s not only cruelty-free, it’s also significantly healthier!⠀⁠ ⠀⁠ Scrambled tofu contains some fiber, whereas scrambled eggs don’t. Also, it’s a lot lower in saturated fats as well as fat in general. Moreover, it provides a lot more calcium, a micronutrient that many are always worried about when it comes to eating fully plantbased. ⠀⁠ ⠀⁠ The most important difference is, however, that scrambled tofu doesn’t contain ANY cholesterol, whereas 100 g of scrambled eggs contain more than 300 mg!⠀⁠ ⠀⁠ The USDA recommends eating no more than 300 mg cholesterol per day (and even that recommendation is very questionable and probably far too high). Considering that you would already exceed this limit with one tiny portion of scrambled eggs, switching to scrambled tofu instead seems like a no brainer.⠀⁠ ⠀⁠ Finally, scrambled tofu is also highly anti-inflammatory because usually it contains turmeric and black pepper, which is a very powerful combination.⠀⁠ ⠀⁠ Definitely use kala namak salt, it gives it an authentic egg-like taste. Just stick to what you know and get used to that first. 2. Make small switches over time. Look, unless you’re a super go-getter and really want to, you don’t have to do this overnight. Simply switch out one thing at a time each week you go to the store. For example: try a different kind of plant milk (almond, oat, soy, pea, flax) there’s legit so many different kinds.
