Good morning everyone :) I decided to start my day with a smoothie. Such an easy breakfast. This one is an orange sweet potato delight ! Yesterday I roasted potatoes tossed in olive oil, nutritional yeast and Berbere and prepped the leftovers into servings. This morning in the time it took to heat these up I did a quick water sauté of kale with garlic and chopped up a raw tomato for a filling breakfast post long dog walk and before a busy day. Easy Vegan Chocolate Rolls w/ Simple Homemade Chocolate Syrup By:@peanutbutterandjillybeans Is there anything better in life than a cinnamon roll? Well, how about a 🍫CHOCOLATE roll? Chocolate lovers, you’re going to want to save this. The buttery vegan dough is so light and crispy on the outside yet soft and airy on the inside! The chocolate maple syrup is the perfect topping. You’ll crave this every weekend for breakfast! Enjoy! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. Prep Dough Mix the following: 2 tbsp maple syrup 1/4 cup melted vegan butter 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup almond milk Then, sprinkle 1/2 packet of active dry yeast on top Let it sit for 1 minute, then mix in: 2 1/2 cups flour Mix just until combined, cover bowl with plastic wrap & set aside for 1 hour to let it rise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Step 2. Prep Filling Ingredients 1/3 cup softened vegan butter 1/2-2/3 cup brown sugar 1 tbsp cocoa powder 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Step 3. Roll Dough onto floured surface into 1/2 inch thick rectangle ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Step 4. Spread softened vegan butter, then sugar, then sprinkle cocoa powder & chocolate chips ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Step 5. Roll dough into a log & slice into 6 pinwheels ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Step 6. Put pinwheels into baking dish. I use a round pie dish or casserole dish. Make sure the rolls are all touching each other but there’s room for them to grow (they will double in size!) cover the dish with plastic wrap, let sit for 30 min to 1 hour. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Step 7. Remove plastic wrap, bake for about 35 min on 350. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Step 8. I originally saw @namasteandchow raving about this bacon recipe. I would definitely agree that @mississippivegan has nailed tofu bacon 👏🏻 Well done Tim! It is the closest to traditional bacon I’ve had to date. It has the burnt crispy edges, which were always my personal favorite part 🖤 I want to do a crumble version to keep on hand to add as toppers to burgers, pizza, pasta, salads, soups, anything really! Hi this is Sophia...I’ve kidnapped Pia and hacked into her fabulous food blog. I don’t normally spend too much time on cooking and in all honesty, my food looks pretty sad compared to Pia’s. But today, I put my self-consciousness aside and made this lovely breakfast I get to share with you now. I am not really into exact quantities when it comes to cooking, I get enough of it at uni....sooooo no actual recipe you can refer to - I’m sorry for the lack of professionalism. My breakfast bowl consists of the following - Unsweetened Soy yogurt - Honey (seriously the best honey! 🌱Tofu scramble ➡️➡️➡️swipe for chronometer stats. 🌱Sauté 10 crimini mushrooms and one large onion. Once they’re mostly done, add some halved cherry tomatoes. Cook for a minute or two longer, remove and set aside. 🌱Break up a pack of tofu with your hands into the same pan you just used. Turn heat to medium high and prepare the sauce... 🌱 in a small bowl mix a half cup non-dairy milk, 1 tbsp Dijon, 2-3 tbsp nooch. I always play with the other seasonings and amounts, but tend to use garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and a little turmeric and a little paprika. 🌱Pour the mixture over the tofu and mix it up, for about 2-3 minutes. Turn the heat off. What do you eat for breakfast on weekdays? I usually have a smoothie or some variation of this Chocolatey Pecan Chia Cereal (vegan & gf). It’s one of my favourite everyday breakfasts because it only takes 5 minutes to throw together (plus 15 mins to soak). Plus it uses just 6 nutritious ingredients (including chia, hemp, gojis, buckwheat and pumpkin seeds) plus optional toppings to keep you powered up until lunchtime. You can make big batches of this ahead of time and it’s just a great, simple breakfast that you can feel good about eating! I’ve been portioning my food the past couple of days and tracking my macros using @lifesum (which you should totally down load cause it’s user friendly and I love their aesthetic.) I’ve been watching so many YouTube videos about how to assign yourself macros for losing body fat and gain muscle at the same time. Hopefully I’m doing it correctly😅 I’ve been intaking a ton of protein and tbh it’s been hard! It’s hard because I’m trying not to pass my fat and carb numbers. So eating the alternative meats have helped me *almost* reach my protein goals. The meal in the photo is 43g of protein! Which is a champs breakfast! But next time I won’t do the avocado cause the amount of fat it has literally leaves no more room for me to eat my other meals without going over 😫 If anyone knows someone in Florida that assigns macros, meal ideas, workouts for a living LMK! They gotta be vegan tho👀

Even if you eat eggs this is a good way to diversify your breakfasts and can be filled with any ingredients just like an omelette! Here's the recipe: 1.5 cups chickpea flour (also labeled besan if you go to an Indian specialty store) 1 cup water 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1 Tablespoon nutritional yeast 1/3 teaspoon pink salt (for an egg-ier taste use black salt! I just don't like black salt so I stick with the pink) ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl until no lumps remain. Heat a skillet with 1 Tablespoon olive oil (make sure the bottom of the pan is covered). Pour batter into the pan, and be patient! Don't move it around in a pan until the top almost completely dries. I'll post a picture in my stories so you can see what I mean. Then fill with any fillings if desired, and carefully fold one side over and remove from pan. Have you ever thought that you can actually bake your oatmeal?🤔😱⁣ ⁣ It’s just PERFECT for the winter to warm you up as it takes 4 minutes to make it!😏 You throw all the ingredients in a heat resistant mug, mix it, and wait till it’s baked!🥤 Tadaaaa your too yummy winter comfort bake breakfast is ready!🍽🥧⁣ ⁣ All you’ll need:⁣ 🌾1 cup of fav Oats⁣ 🍌1 Ripe Banana⁣ 🍯1 tsp Maple/Agave Syrup⁣ 🥛1 cup of Water/Plant milk⁣ 🍫Dark Chocolate (Optional)⁣ ⁣ And that’s it!!!😍⁣ Mash the banana. TORTINO DI QUINOA AL 🍋 E ZENZERO, CON YOGURT, FRUTTA SECCA e CANDITA. #glutenfree #senzazucchero #senzauova . ➡️#RICETTADELGIORNO⤵️ con ingredienti #healthyfood + tempo #zerosbattifit= #colazionetime x il mio #mangiaresano ⚠️ ... sapevatelo tutti #foodblogger e non, impegnati nella lettura: #foodstyling non è solo estetica ma anche #cibosanoegustoso😉😋🤭 . ▶️ Prepariamo l' "🥚" naturale: in una ciotola di media misura (così si evitano travasi nel corso della preparazione) versare ✓1+1/2🥄semi lino dorati tritati + ✓4🥄infuso tiepido aromatizzato ginger lemon (bene anche acqua temperatura ambiente). Mescolare e lasciar riposare con coperchio. Nel frattempo procedere con: ▶️✓25gr di QUINOA mondata e tostata. (lasciare in ammollo x 1/2h avendo accortezza di cambiare l'acqua ogni 10', ad ogni cambio sciacquare abbondantemente; al termine asciugare e tostare). In un pentolino versare e mescolare tra loro: ▶️✓80ml bev.veg.riso (o preferita)+✓2 anice 🌟+✓scorza di 1🍋intero+✓zenzero in polvere a gogogogo. Immergere in questo "intruglio magico" la quinoa e ▶️Cuocere, a 🔥 bassa, fino a completo assorbimento. Una volta terminata la cottura, lasciare a riposo c/coperchio per 10' (questo permette alla quinoa di gonfiarsi ulteriormente). Allo scadere del tempo, prendere la ciotola nella quale abbiamo preparato in nostro "🥚" naturale e ▶️versare la quinoa ed amalgamarla molto bene, aggiungere ✓2-3🥄colmi di yogurt nat. soia (⚠️regolarsi a 👁️ - lo yogurt non deve sovrastare la quinoa) + ✓zenzero in polvere +✓mix frutta secca tritata al coltello +✓2🍑 disidratate tagliate fini fini. Quando tutto amalgamato, versare il composto in una terrina adatta alla cottura a forno, uniformare, +✓spruzzare qualche goccia🍋+✓spolverare qualche pezzettino mix frutta secca e ▶️ Cuocere in forno (statico pre-riscaldato) a 180° per 40' + 160° per 10'. ⚠️(la cottura può variare secondo il grado di croccantezza che si predilige). ▶️Lasciare raffreddare, conservare fuori frigorifero coperta per l'intera notte. La mattina consumare dopo aver toppato con ▶️TOPPING: ✓scorza 🍋 fresca, spolverata zenzero; accompagnare con infuso caldo gusto ginger lemon o menta lemon. 🍋🍃
