🌱Tonight I made this bomb Potato Lovers Salad that was a little taste of heaven in each bite! I made this is with simple items in the pantry and fridge which made meal time easy on this busy Monday. I made the dressing from beets, tahini, and a few spices which complimented each hearty bite beautifully with a heart healthy benefit. I also added raw sunflower seeds and walnuts for a little added fat and Omega. Afterwards my babies enjoyed the smoothie pops that I made from my left over smoothie. TheVeganKind Box du mois de janvier 2020 : Dans cette box j’ai beaucoup aimer les chips goût fromage et oignons rouge qui ont vraiment un goût de chips au fromage et la barre Hüüg. J’ai trouvé le cookie un peu lourd et sec (je pense que j’aurais du le mettre au micro-onde). Von bisher allen getesteten Hackvleisch Sorten mag ich das einfache Sojagranulat am liebsten. Was ist euer Favorit? Oder bezieht ihr solche Alternativprodukte gar nicht in euren Speiseplan ein? Entgegen aller Empfehlungen weiche ich das Sojagranulat gar nicht ein, sondern bereite es so zu: trocken, wie es aus dem Beutel kommt, bei mittlerer Hitze in Öl anbraten. Wenn das Öl aufgesogen ist, etwas Wasser dazu geben und weiterbraten. Immer wieder etwas Wasser hinzufügen, bis das Hackvleisch knusprig braun gebraten ist. Das dauert etwa 15 Minuten, ihr braucht etwas Geduld. Das Granulat sauft die Flüssigkeit auf, wird innen saftig und außen knusprig. Währenddessen würze ich mit Sojasauce, Gewürzmischung für Hackfleisch, Pfeffer, Paprika und Muskatnuss. Haschee für 2 Portionen: Öl zum Anbraten 100 g Sojagranulat von @vantasticfoods 2 Zwiebeln 1 Knoblauchzehe 1 EL Tomatenmark Gemüsebrühe Gewürzmischung Alltagsheld von @reishunger Spritzer Zitronensaft Salz, Pfeffer Paprikapulver Chiliflocken Kümmel Senf ggf. Stärke zum Abbinden Sojagranulat wie oben beschrieben zubereiten, aus der Pfanne nehmen. In der gleichen Pfanne zwei Zwiebeln und Knoblauch glasig dünsten, Sojagranulat und Tomatenmark zufügen. Mit ca. 800 ml Gemüsebrühe ablöschen und alle Gewürze dazugeben, der Senf kommt erst am Ende der Garzeit dazu, sonst verfliegt der Geschmack. 30-40 Minuten kochen lassen, ggf. abbinden oder etwas mehr Brühe dazugeben, je nach Konsistenz und eurem Geschmack. My friend and I were at the same tutorials today and then decided to go for an impromptu dinner in Glasgow. Big love to people who will follow along with your spontaneous ideas 🥰 Went to Merchant square @steakcattleandroll which is an omni place I’d never been to before, with an amazing selection of vegan food, including milkshakes, floats and sundaes (aka I’ll be back🍦) • Had the vegan chicken burger (swipe for a deconstructed photo lmao) and shared loaded Louisiana fries! The fried “chicken” was really nice and I liked the sauces very much 👍🏼 🍔 • It’s nice to check other places out that can accommodate for all diets. Found this recommendation via the Vegan Edinburgh Glasgow Facebook page which I would highly recommend! ✨ALDI VEGAN BBQ JACKFRUIT PIZZA✨ what a world we live in that there's frozen vegan pizza IN ALDI for £1.75 🍕 this was insanely good, the cheese was soft and the jackfruit had loads of flavour ✨ I replaced the peppers with fresh tomato (I'm allergic) and had iceland mayo + hummus for dipping 😋 I knew I was hungry enough for a whole pizza and even though it was a little scary allowing myself the whole thing, this meal fit fine into my rough calorie aim for the day, and it also had 24g of protein 💪

✨ LAMINGTONS ✨ I’ve always loved lamingtons growing up so I just HAD to veganise these. Who else loves lamingtons? Or who has never tried them? WE WANT A LAMINGTON EMOJI! Anyway, these are actually super easy to make and very VERY tasty 🤤 here’s the recipe: For the cake: 1 1/2 cups plain flour 1 tsp baking powder 3/4 cup caster sugar Pinch of salt 1 1/4 cups soy milk 1 tsp apple cider vinegar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 cup vegetable oil For the coating: 2 cups icing sugar 2 tbsp cocoa powder Hot water 4 cups desiccated coconut 1️⃣ Preheat oven to 180°C 2️⃣ In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients first and then add the wet ingredients for the cake. Mix together until flour is mixed through and pour into a lined square baking dish. 3️⃣ Bake for 20-25 mins or until a skewer comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let it sit in the pan for 10 mins before transferring to a cooling rack and letting it cool completely. 4️⃣ Once cooled, cut into squares. 5️⃣ To make the chocolate icing, combine the ingredients in a bowl and slowly add small amounts of hot water, mixing, until the mixture is smooth and thin enough to dip the cake pieces in. 6️⃣ Dip each cake square in coating all sides and then dip in the coconut. Heat the peanut butter in a casserole with the maple syrup and 1/2 cup of water until you have a cream (let it cool). Preheat the oven to 180 °. Add it to the flour and mix well with your hands. Add 2/3 of water until you have a consistent dough ready to form balls. Add the🍫chips. Make small balls and give them cookie form (about 20 cookies come out). Place them on baking paper in the baking sheet and bake at medium height for 30-45 min until golden. Enjoy with Turmeric Latte😋 or keep them in the fridge for a week/freezer for a month. ENERGY BALLS🙌✨⁣ Here’s a super simple & quick recipe for some delicious energy balls! These make the perfect snack! Also these ones don’t require a food processor so basically anyone can make them and requires very little equipment, basically all you need is a bowl, a spoon, your ingredients & about 10 mins👍 ⁣ ⁣ Ingredients:⁣ ⁣ - 1 cup almond butter⁣ - 1 cup rolled oats—I think quick oats would work too⁣ - 1/4 cup maple syrup ⁣ - 1 tsp vanilla extract⁣ - 1/4 cup hemp seeds⁣ - 1 tbsp chia seeds⁣ - 1/4 cup coconut shreds⁣ - 1/4 cup mini non dairy chocolate chips ⁣ - Pinch of sea salt⁣ ⁣ Method:⁣ 1️⃣ Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and mix until fully combined! 2️⃣ Roll into balls and place in the fridge for 20 mins to firm up a little more⁣ 3️⃣ Store in an airtight container in the fridge and eat within a week

Sometimes I forget how good proper “British Grub” is until you complete your dish by smothering it in gravy 🤤🇬🇧⁣ ⁣ Here’s my slightly pimped up version of Red Onion and Rosemary sausages, Carrot & Swede mash and Onion gravy! 🥕🧅⁣ ⁣ For the carrot and swede mash:⁣ •Boil 1 swede and 5 carrots until soft⁣ •Strain and put back into pot⁣ •Mix approx 100ml plant milk⁣ •2tbsp flora buttery butter (😍)⁣ •Good amount of salt & pepper ⁣ •Blend that baby up⁣ •Devour! ☺️⁣

Kosten zwar ein paar Cent mehr, aber was man nicht alles für die Umwelt macht!“ ⠀ Ich weiß nicht, wie ich reagieren soll 🤪 ich meine, es ist toll, dass sie sich da Gedanken macht und möchte ihr die Lust nicht nehmen. Aber wirklich begeistert bin ich natürlich auch nicht. ⠀ Nachhaltigkeit ist im Trend, das wissen die großen Konzerne auch. Seit letzter Woche gibt es veganen Burger bei KFC - überraschend spät, denn McDonald‘s und Burger King haben schon im 2019 ihre pflanzlichen Alternativen präsentiert. Mikroplastikbarons wie L‘Oreal und Persil bringen neue Öko-Produkte auf den Markt. „Grüner“ Stromtarif, Papier statt Plastik, Milch von glücklichen Kühen - so werden die meisten Konsumenten ihr schlechtes Gewissen los. Das Streben nach Nachhaltigkeit ist ja was Gutes, aber es geht noch besser! ⠀ Wart ihr schon mal in einer ähnlichen Situation, wie ich mit meiner Oma? Oder war vielleicht jemand von euch selbst ein Opfer von Greenwashing-Marketing? Ich habe wirklich lange gebraucht, bis ich gecheckt habe, dass die Eco-Putzmittel der konventionellen Marken kaum besser sind 🙈 mittlerweile wird hier nur mit Essig und Natron geputzt 💚 ⠀ Werbung da Verlinkung und Marken erkennbar

Picked up these @doisyanddam bits in Holland and Barrett today. I wasn’t sure what I would think of the Ballers after hearing some mixed reviews but I quite liked them! If you like pretty dark chocolate you probably will too. Just don’t expect them to be like malteasers, they’re different but yummy in their own right. 😋 • • I love the smarties type ones! 🌱EASY TEMPEH BOWL🌱 3 words people... baked sesame tempeh🤩🤩🤩 it’s simple but oh so tasty and takes 15 mins so is PERFECT for those starting back at uni/school/whatever! I took this bowl as part of lunch today at uni and it was super yum and got a few admiring glances may I say😏 I paired it with a packet of chickpea puffs, a white choc Clif bar and an apple and it was a v tasty lunch to break up a long nd confusing day of lectures. Eating some good food will only have helped my brain though so let this be your reminder to stay fuelled of yummy foods no matter what you’re doing! Not moving round much, still gotta eat. Having a bad day, still gotta eat. Don’t having a fucking clue what’s happening in any of your lectures🙃, still gotta eat!! . 🌱bowl details🌱 - marinate your tempeh in some soy sauce, maple syrup and sesame oil overnight and then bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes - microwave (if u lazy like me) some potatos for about 8 mins till they go crispy - throw whatever veggies you have into a lunchbox - add the tempeh when it’s done and then the potatos - I topped mine with leftover sundried tomatoes, pickles and a good few drizzles of tahini🌿🌿🌿

Hier kommt mein #fooddiary vom heutigen Tag 💪😍. Zum Frühstück gab es (unfreiwilligen) Blaubeer-Vanille-Protein "Pudding" 🍇 😂 Ich habe 30g veganes Proteinpulver von @foodspring mit 300ml Hafermilch aufgelöst und das ganze mit 76g Blaubeeren püriert... 🌱A VEGAN SUET PUDDING?!🌱 I saw @billsrestaurant Veganuary menu this year features this Tarragon & Mushroom Suet Pudding so I had to go and try it because I haven’t had one since being vegan and IT IS AMAZING! The texture is the same as a ‘normal’ suet pud and the filling is lush! Praying they keep this dish after January! Masla Tofu: I was inspired to change an old recipe from a Jamie Oliver cook book that I’ve had for many years in to a vegan recipe and I was pretty proud of how it came out as. For me after trying alternative products for egg, using tofu works the best for me as you can always change up the flavour. I used a combination of dairy free natural yoghurt, self raising flour and dairy free butter to make the flat bread, garam masala and chillis to flavour the tofu and I roasted the tomatoes for around 15 minutes. If you love apples and you are a bit lazy like me here's the easiest dessert ever: Cut as many apples as you want in small pieces and coat them with cinnamon and coconut sugar. Bake them for about 1 hour and a half. You can add raisins if you like too! Blend oats with date syrup (mine is from @bionaorganic ) and bake them for 5 - 10 mins depending on how golden you want them! Then mix them together and voila! 💛

RATATOUILLE SPAGHETTI BAKE 🍝 I love ratatouille, but sometimes I don’t just want it plonked on top of my pasta. So I made it into a little spaghetti bake. And sometimes a savory bowl of quinoa and other yummies = breakfast. This is why I always love to have prepared grains on hand. No real recipe here but here’s the scoop: • reheat previously cooked quinoa in a frying pan over low heat (or cook from scratch) • while it’s warming up, stir in some frozen spinach, black beans and any other veggies you want! I threw in some chopped cherry tomatoes at the end to just warm up a bit. • once warm, plate and top with nutritional yeast, avocado and red pepper flakes! EZ PZ nutrient dense meal!
