Check out the recipe for these below:⠀ ​⠀ Ingredients (~12 cookies)⠀ 2 1/4 cup flour⠀ 1 tsp salt⠀ 1 tsp baking soda⠀ 2 tsp cornstarch⠀ 3/4 cup vegan margarine (from a tub, not the sticks)⠀ 1/4 cup nondairy milk (like almond or soy)⠀ 1 cup brown sugar⠀ 1/4 cup sugar⠀ 2 tsp vanilla extract⠀ 1 1/2 cup mini vegan chocolate chips⠀ ​⠀ Directions:⠀ Preheat the oven to 350°F.⠀ Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. In a small mixing bowl, whisk the flour, salt, baking soda, and cornstarch.⠀ In a larger mixing bowl, add the margarine, milk, sugars, and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer. Add ~half of the flour mixture to the wet mixture and use a rubber scraper to combine. Add the rest and mix until combined. Another Kind Earth week begins and may it for us, and you, be a week full of positivity and happy vibes. I know it is a tough time of the year but let's try to keep smiling and supporting each other. I did my usual litter sweep walking to the shop and could get down about just how much litter there is but would rather focus on the positive that lots of friends of Kind Earth are doing their best to keep our community clean and tidy. This, as with many of the battles we face, is one we CAN win if we all do our bit and look out for one another. We have an exciting week in store lined up again with our cooking demonstration with @scatterjoy_holistics this evening from 6.30 (it's not too late to book a place no), lots of deliveries expected including your favourite fresh products, samples to try, more products to add to the online store, and the meeting about how to save the Terracycle recycling scheme at 6pm tomorrow. Oggi vi propongo una super torta 🍰 perfetta davvero per TUTTI 🤩 super facile, VELOCE e buonissima 🤤 a prova di inzuppo ☕️ 🔸INGREDIENTI (stampo 18, per uno stampo 26-28 raddoppiare le dosi) 125 g YOGURT preferito 35 g OLIO SEMI 80 g ZUCCHERO 100 g FARINA DI RISO 40 g FECOLA DI PATATE 8 g LIEVITO x dolci Una bustina di vanillina o scorza limone Un pizzico di CURCUMA facoltativo 🔸PROCEDIMENTO In una ciotola mescolare con una frusta yogurt con olio e zucchero . Aggiungere poi farina fecola, lievito e una bustina di vanillina setacciati. Mescolare fino ad avere un composto omogeneo e non molto liquido. (Se volete dare un colore più giallo alla torta aggiungete un pizzico di curcuma, tranquilli non influirà sul sapore della torta) Spostare il composto in uno stampo (18cm) rivestito da carta forno e infornare a 180 gradi preriscaldato statico per 30-35 min (fate attenzione alla cottura perché può variare da forno a forno, in questo caso a me sono bastati 28 min di cottura. Being vegan is so easy and so DELICIOUS. Don't get me wrong, I love store-bought #vgf meals and snacks and I lovelovelove going out to eat. But I ain't made of money! This whole shepherds pie/pot pie cost about $8 and has 4 huge servings in it. (Or 6 reasonable servings 😁) We sauteed tempeh, peas, and carrots with garlic, onion, veggie broth, curry powder and @braggsacvhealth . Then we tossed it into a pie shell, topped it off with mashed potatoes and baked it for about 20 minutes. Not into curry? Kid approved...and grown up!😋Have a great day friends. 🌱Recipe veggies in cheese sauce: Sauté 1 small sweet onion (chopped) in a little olive oil or veggie broth until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add 1 medium russet potato (grated), 4 garlic cloves (minced), 1/2 tsp ground mustard seed powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder/granules, 1/4 tsp red chili flakes. Sauté another minute. Add 2/3 cup raw cashews and 1 cup vegetable broth or water. Bring to a simmer and cook until potatoes are done(about 10 minutes), adding more water or broth as needed and stirring regularly. Transfer to blender and add 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar + 1/4 cup nutritional yeast (+ 1/2 tsp pickled horseradish optional). Blend until smooth. Salt to taste. Mix in sautéed or lightly steamed veggies of choice. Lemon & Garlic Pasta with Buffalo Cauliflower✨ This pasta is so simple. The longest part of the cook time was baking the cauliflower. I meal prepped this for lunch at work tomorrow. I love cooking meals for busy humans, like myself. What you need: Organic cauliflower Buffalo sauce of your choice Organic spinach Half a lemon juice Minced garlic EVOO Salt and pepper Gluten free Capellini noodles How to make: Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Begin cutting your cauliflower into small pieces. Toss your cauliflower florets into your buffalo sauce and marinate for 10 minutes. Once the cauliflower is marinated, you will bake them for about 40 minutes or your desired texture. Boil your pasta as directed on the box. You will heat up evoo, minced garlic, and lemon juice on low heat for 2 minutes then toss in the cooked noodles. Add spinach at the very end. You will then plate the pasta and top it with the buffalo cauliflower. Sprinkle everything with parsley and salt/pepper. SO GOOD. #plantifulbria

Follow @totallyplantbased for all the best Plant Based Recipes daily.⠀ Today's recipe is a Cherry & Coconut Loaf by @miss_vs_nutburgers 😉💚🙌. 1/4 cup organic sunflower oil 60g melted coconut butter 1/4 cup coconut sugar 1/4 cup maple syrup 1 tspn vanilla extract 1 large mashed banana 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce 1/4 tspn organic almond essence (optional) 1 1/2 cups spelt flour 3/4 cup almond meal 1 1/2 tspns baking powder Pinch of salt 1 1/2 cups desiccated coconut 1/3 cup oat milk mixed with 1/2 tbspn white vinegar 150g dried organic tart Montmerency cherries plus more to press on top before baking 1/3 cup shredded coconut for the top Preheat the oven to 175•C & grease & line a loaf pan. In a large jug, whisk together the melted coconut butter, maple syrup, coconut sugar, vanilla & sunflower oil. Add the mashed banana & apple sauce and mix well. In a separate large bowl sift the flour, almond meal, baking powder & salt. Add the wet mixture and combine well. Pour in the oat milk/vinegar mixture and fold through the mixture. Add the cherries and distribute them evenly. Spread evenly in the loaf pan, scatter some cherries & the shredded coconut on top and press down slightly. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. CONTROL | this is something that I am working on and I truly believe that most people can benefit from. ⁣ ⁣ We are usually our own worst enemies. We hold ourselves back without even realizing it sometimes. ⁣ ⁣ We tell ourselves:⁣ “you can’t do that”⁣ “you’re under/over qualified for that”⁣ “you need experinece first”⁣ “I need someone to go with”⁣ “I’m too busy to take time for myself”⁣ “I don’t have enough money for___”⁣ “I’ll do that when ___”⁣ “I’m too young/old to start ___”. ⁣ You get the picture. ⁣ ⁣ Do you know what 👆🏼 those are? Those are all excuses 🤯.⁣ ⁣ Trusting & surrendering control was my life theme for fourth quarter of 2019. When I look back though, it started 1.5-2 years before that and I just didn’t consciously realize it at the time. ⁣ ⁣ This theme of surrendering control and trusting that everything will workout is something I’m carrying into 2020. ⁣ ⁣ To do this I plan to:⁣ ✨ Use @melrobbins 5 second rule - this will push yourself (my procrastination is REAL for me right now and I need to nip that in the bud so I can move forward!)⁣ ✨ Take action - nothing will just come to you, you need to take steps in the direction you want to go. ⁣ ✨ Meditate, reflect & journal - this allows you to gain clarity on where you might be holding yourself back and you can track your progress. ⁣ ✨ Tune in & LISTEN - only you have all the answers you are looking for and you’ll only hear them if you’re quiet long enough.⁣ ✨ Be consistent - small steps over time get your further than giving it 100% in short bursts here and there. Consistency creates the habits that will help you unblock yourself.⁣ ✨ Be present - appreciate the little things. Love life more. ⁣ ✨ Honour where you are NOW & take steps to get where I want to be - this ties it all together. Follow @totallyplantbased for all the best Plant Based Recipes daily.⠀ Today's recipe is Spicy Vegan Steamed Dumplings by @woon.heng 😉💚🙌.⠀ ⠀ Tag a friend who needs to see this!⠀ ⠀ Recipe:⠀ ⠀ Spicy Vegan Steamed Dumplings 🌱🔥 Little plant-based pockets of goodness! ⠀ Recipe⠀ Ingredients:⠀ ~ 2 lbs of bok choy, washed and julienned⠀ ~ 1 package of wonton/dumpling wrapper⠀ ~ 1 box of firm tofu, drained & mashed⠀ ~ 1/4 cup of saute mushrooms⠀ ~ 1 tablespoon black bean sauce⠀ ~ 1 tablespoon corn starch⠀ ~ salt to taste⠀ ~ oil⠀ Spicy sauce (whisk all ingredients in a bowl until sugar dissolves):⠀ ~ 3 tablespoons soy sauce⠀ ~ 2 tablespoon chilli oil with chilli crumbs⠀ ~ 1 tablespoon sesame oil⠀ ~ 1 teaspoon Chinese black vinegar⠀ ~ 1 teaspoon grated ginger⠀ ~ 1 teaspoon sugar⠀ ⠀ Place julienned bok choy in a large bowl with 2 tsp salt, using your hands, gently massage salt into veggies. Set aside for 15-20mins. In a heated pan with 1 tsp oil, sauté mushrooms until lightly brown, add black bean sauce and stir until well combined, set aside and pan fry mashed tofu for 2 minutes (or until brown), season with salt. Place both ingredients in a big bowl.⠀ ⠀ Using a cheesecloth or just with your palms, squeeze as much liquid out as possible from your bok choy. Add tofu mixture, cornstarch, combine well & season if needed.⠀ ⠀ Place a dollop of mixture in the middle of your wrapper, moisten side with water and pleat to seal. Place wontons on a steamer basket and steam for 15mins in high heat. Remove and serve warm with spicy sauce. How to get in more GREENS ✨ In today’s YouTube video I did a Q+A answering some of your most common nutrition questions, like how to reduce bloating, my thoughts on fake meat alternatives, starting a plant-based diet, and how to get in more greens! 🌿 I was so happy to answer this because I get this question all the time with my one-on-one nutrition clients! I go into way more detail in the video (link in bio!) but here’s a few tips: 🌿 Think of adding them in, not taking something else away. You don’t need to completely swap your meal for a salad to get in those greens. Instead, try adding a handful to meals you’re already making, like stir fries, noodle bowls, pastas, and soups! 🌿Find a green you like. If you hate kale, don’t force yourself to eat it. Find greens that you LOVE to eat- you’ll enjoy them more, and you’re more likely to eat more of them, which means even more nutrients! 🌿 Try new ways of cooking greens. Honestly, I hate wilted spinach. The flavor is so strong to me and the texture reaaaaally doesn’t do it for me. Instead, I prefer fresh spinach, or spinach in smoothies! Play around with how you eat greens (roasting, steaming, sauté, raw), and if you really can’t find a way, refer to the previous tip. 🌿Know that greens aren’t the be all and end all. Yes, I think we should all eat more greens. But we still have to consider the other veggies, too! Different colored veggies have different nutrients, so make sure you’re eating the rainbow! . Another easy family dinner recipe coming at ya! Super easy Chinese style sesame tofu (without all the junk!). Made with minimal ingredients this sauce comes together in under 15 minutes. erewhon is as la as it gets 🌴 . fun fact: I've been going since my junior year of college and I took weekend trips to their calabasas location just to have their buffalo cauliflower 🙈I drove three hours just for that but it was worth the time and drive haha. . Whenever I’m there, I usually grab lunch or dinner along with other products.
