Y’all went NUTS over these homemade vegan dumplings on my stories! 🥜🤪 . Try it with a plum dipping sauce or throw them in some broth for a soup! RECIPE: Vegan dumplings!! 🥟🤤 (makes about 30) 👉🏼INGREDIENTS: - pre-made vegan dumplings wraps - 1 package extra firm tofu - 1 T. avocado or sesame oil - 2 t. garlic powder - s + p to taste - chili flakes, if desired - 1 1/2 cups walnuts (bulk at @sprouts) - 8-11 crimini mushrooms (bulk at @sprouts) - 2 T. hoisin sauce - 1 T. liquid aminos - plum sauce . 👉🏼METHOD: 1. Drain, squeeze out water, and crumble tofu into a hot pan with 1 T. of avocado oil or sesame oil. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili flakes. Add hoisin sauce and liquid aminos. Leave it cooking and stir occasionally. Don’t be afraid to let it get a lil crispy. 2. Chop the walnuts in a food processor. 3. Wash and chop the mushrooms in the food processor. 4. Once the tofu has begun to brown a bit, add mushrooms. Stir until they soften and add the walnuts. Let it sit and cook for a minute or two to let the flavors combine. Turn off the stove and remove from heat. 5. Prep your dumpling wrapping station with dough wraps, a bowl with water, and a DRY space to put your dumplings without crowding. Be careful not to wet the dough unless you’re folding the dumplings. 6. Work with one dough wrapper in your station at a time. Add about 1-2 T. of the filling onto a wrapper. Using your dominant hand lift the dough from one side like a taco. With the other begin to pleat the dough into about 1/4” overlapping pleats, directing the edge of the dough to the center of the dumpling. Wet your fingers as needed to give the dough grip. The consistency reminded me of throwing in ceramics class. Follow the edge of the dough, pleating in a circle until your pleats meet together in the middle. Pinch the top of the dumpling pleats together to seal it off. Set aside. 7. Set up your steamer. Add a tiny bit of oil to the bottom of the steamer so they don’t stick. Place 1 finger space from each other. Cook 9-10 minutes. Be aware of the steam when you open the pot! 8. Enjoy! COMMENT what you think! SAVE this for the future!

Sometimes you just need a big ole kale salad 🌱⠀ ⠀ Today was that day for me. If I'm being honest, I don't eat nearly enough salads. I need to start brainstorming some yummy salad ideas that I can bring to y'all instead of spamming you with all the vegan junk 24/7 lolllll. ⠀ ⠀ Today's salad consisted of kale🥬, carrot🥕, bell pepper🌶, green onion, lentils, chickpeas, hemp seeds and a creamy (yet dairy free!) avocado cilantro tahini sauce🥑.⠀ ⠀ To make:⠀ ⠀ 1. Either cook some chickpeas and lentils or buy them precooked. Whatever it takes to get you to eat healthy foods!⠀ ⠀ 2. Tahini sauce! Add tahini, avocado, cilantro, lemon juice, garlic cloves, salt, pepper and water to a blender. Mix to desired consistency.⠀ ⠀ 3. Massage kale with lemon juice, salt, and a bit of avocado or olive oil to make the texture of the kale much more palatable and easy to chew. ⠀ 4. Chop veggies and combine with kale. Add hemp seeds to mix.⠀⠀ ⠀ 5. Either mix dressing into salad or have it on the side.⠀ ⠀ I hope you enjoyed this recipe BEEEBZ happy fryay!

This past week I have eaten potato salad for lunch every single day and let me tell you that it was a celebration everytime the clocks struck noon. That is another one of those meals I didn't like when I was not a vegan, and that I enjoy now. The thing is I never liked mayonnaise, I think it's evil 😶 So a sweet potato made with some cashew sauce sounds a lot better in my book 👏🏻👏🏻 . To make it: Mix some small potatoes with green bell pepper, red onion, corn, fresh dill and pour a generous amount of cashew sauce on top. To make the sauce: soak 1/2 cup of cashews in water for a 3-4 hours, then drain, and mix with 1/4 water, 3 tbsp nutritionnal yeast, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, and 1 tsbp vegetable broth. Mix everything in a high speed blender and there you goooo 💫. . Today is freezing cold in Quebec (hello -20 degrees C) so I am probably going to lock myself in when the work week ends. One of the more difficult aspects I’ve encountered during the vegan transition is seeing the lack of options restaurants provide when I’ve forgotten to make lunch the night before. It happens! Or sometimes you’re just too tired. At any rate I am thankful for the places which do actively take the time to provide these options, such as my work’s cafeteria today with its vegetable and chickpea chili, plus a cheeky baked potato. 4 GO TO DRESSINGS/DIPS🍽 Sauce is like a purse or a pair of shoes. Any simple outfit can be transformed with the right accessories. Same as with sauces: they can add wonderful flavours to simple meals and make them very enjoying. Last week was my first time cooking for a 20 women group 3 days retreat completely by myself. From planning, shopping and cooking to washing dishes. Breakfast lunch dinner and a dessert. I got reminded I need to trust the universe and follow the guidance of my higher self. Things didn’t go as I planned which was stressing me out because I was so attached to it. Once I let go and stopped resisting everything fell into right places and went even better than I could have planned myself.😍 I was very conscious and aware of what I wanted to create regarding the energy and feeling. My goal was to bring in joy and celebration for others with my food and presence. Feedback from those women was just that. Women were very interested in the ingredients and the process of cooking. I loved sharing my recipes and tips. From what I noticed they were extra curious in dips and dressings. Here are the top 4 dressings/dips that received the best feedback in the retreat 🥗For salad: 1 hand-full of Cranberries A few Dates (or a sweetener of choice) A dash of chilli powder Orange juice of the orange 🍫Vegan healthy nutella: 4 tbsp of peanut butter 3 tbsp date paste (just blended dates) 3 tbsp cacao powder 🍧Sauercream dip: 150g tofu 100g unsweetened soy or coconut yogurt Spices of choice 🍜Thai sauce: 4 tbsp peanut butter 1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce 3 tbsp water To make each of those simply combine everything in a blender and mix until smooth. Back at it again with another tasty vegetable packed salad bowl for lunch and this time it’s a nice warm one🥗 Today’s bowl consists of oven-baked kale and cubed butternut squash sprayed with a little @frylighthq sunflower spray and seasoned with some salt and pepper. Then we have some chopped mushrooms and spinach fried with one clove of garlic, again using the @frylighthq sunflower spray for this. Then 3 of the @gosh_food Moroccan spiced falafels baked in the oven and a drizzle of the Inspired Vegan Spiced Orange dressing on top! Tasty, full of goodness and ready in 25 minutes - what’s not to love??🌱💚

Long time no post! #tb to this super creamy and delicious pumpkin risotto I made some days ago for lunch. Pumpkin risotto is definitely one of my favourite dishes! ~ Haven't been very active on here, but I've been (and still am) so stressed and anxious about exams. Whenever I have exams I tend to shut myself down in a way: I isolate myself and I don't allow myself to do all the things I love doing (including post on this account) because otherwise I'll feel guilty. It's an unhealthy mentality and I need to work on this, I know, so here I am challenging myself.

Plněné papriky, rajská a těstoviny. Jídlo, které sem nejedla dvacet let, protože mi nechutnalo. Papriky sem plnila veganským mletým "masem" z lidlu. Je neuvěřitelné, jak dnes může být rostlinná strava podobná té normální. Dnes už opravdu není důvod jíst maso vzhledem k tomu jaké máme možnosti. A co vy už ste vyzkoušeli veganské mleté? Je to klasika maso zamícháme s cibulí, česnekem, solí, pepřem, majoránkou a nacpeme do paprik. Rajskou uděláme taky úplně snadno. Orestujeme velkou cibuli, přidáme 200g rajčatového protlaku, zalijeme zeleninovým vývarem a přidáme koření. Nové koření, bobkový list, pepř, skořici a hřebíček. Vaříme asi 30minut. Pak koření vytáhneme a omáčku ještě pomixujeme aby byla hladká. Dochutíme jak kdo má rád. Zalijeme papriky a pečeme na 200° cca 30minut. Jíst můžeme s těstovinami nebo knedlíkem. Chutná to celkem věrohodně. 😋🤗🥰Obyčejné rizoto / NoMince rissoto (VEGAN) Recept Česky zde: https://www.vegenevege.cz/recept/obycejne-rizoto/ Recipe in English: Ingredients: 1 onion 1 cup NoMince Vegetarian Butcher (or some other minced meat alternative) 150 g brown field mushrooms 10 pieces black olives 2 handful leek 2 pinches crushed caraway 1 teaspoon kuzu starch 1 teaspoon Shoyu 1/2 tablespoon vegan butter Liquid aminos Salt Pepper Olive oil Basmati rice Recipe: Pour bit of olive oil into a pan. Add diced onion. Turn it glassy. Add NoMince. Stir well. Add sliced mushrooms, caraway and roast for 5 minutes on low heat. Pour little bit of water. Add olives and cut leak. Pour 1 dcl water mixed with kuzu and Shoyu. Cook 5 minutes. Add vegan butter. Mix with cooked rice (I used basmati). Season with liquid aminos, salt and pepper.
