Healthy chia pudding recipe Soak 1 or 2 tablespoons of whole organic Chia seeds in 3 to 6 (or more) tablespoons of liquid. Garlic Fried Rice to accompany my next dish. This is freestyle cooking, don’t go overboard with salt or soy sauce, let the garlic bring out the flavors. Here are the ingredients: -Rice cooked and left in fridge overnight. -oil just enough to coat the minced garlic, I use Safflower oil. -Minced garlic -Sliced green onions -Sea salt -Garlic powder -Black pepper -Soy sauce, use very little as it will caramelize the rice giving it sweetness and umami. I used to make this really rich and creamy chicken alfredo, but i haven’t had it in years, so this meal just made me so damn happy. 😭 🌱 i sautéed onions and a TON of garlic in olive oil, then added @vivavivera veggie chicken pieces and fried them until golden and crisping up a bit. i threw in some cornflour to coat the chicken and also become kind of a makeshift roux, then added unsweetened plant milk and seasoned it with sea salt and lots of black pepper. eventually the sauce thickened up, and i melted in some vegan cheese, and added the bell peppers i sautéed separately. stirred in some cooked brown rice fusilli and voila- the pasta dish of my dreams! 😍 🌱 . i genuinely couldn’t believe how close to real chicken the veggie pieces tasted, and i’m definitely going to try veganising more of my favourite chicken dishes with it! stay tuned! 📺 (not sponsored, obviously, though i wish i was! 😂)📷@thezestylime

Mushroom Curry + Chapati How Mushroom Curey can be made? *INGREDIENTS (serves 4) Mushroom chopped - 2 cups Onion chopped - 1/2 cup Chilli powder - 2 spoon Coriander powder - 2 spoon Turmeric powder - 1/2 spoon Mustard Coconut oil Salt Corn flour - if needed *PREPARATION Heat a Pan (medium) , pour a spoon of oil mentioned. Add mustart and let it crack (tup tup tup). Add onion and saute it for a min ( add salt so that onion would become soft). Add mushroom and saute for five mins. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and coridander powder. Saute it for two min and add water (1cup). Close with a lid. Let the mushroom cook!! They could be not only the best cookie, BUT the best recipe I'VE EVER made!! . . Soft and chewy, and bursting with that delicious Hot Cross Bun flavour. . . YOU WILL NEED: 1.5 cups almond meal ½ gluten free plain flour 1.5 tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt ½ cup coconut sugar ½ tsp cinnamon ½ tsp nutmeg ¼ tsp ginger 1 tsp vanilla extract/stevia ⅓ cup almond milk ⅓ cup @organicroad coconut oil, at room temperature (should be slightly solid, or can sub for nutelex) 1 flax egg ⅓ cup raisins ¼ chopped walnuts (optional) Dairy-Free White Chocolate, melted (for crosses) . . HOW TO: . . 1️⃣Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius, fan-forced. 2️⃣Cream the sugar, coconut oil, flax egg, and vanilla. 3️⃣Add the salt and milk, and stir. Then add the almond meal, flour, baking powder and spices and combine with spatula. Lastly, fold through the raisins and walnuts (optional). 4️⃣Refrigerate batter for 20 minutes. 5️⃣Scoop out a tbsp of mixture at a time, roll into balls and place of a lined baking tray. This is the book that ultimately cleared up all of my confusion surrounding nutrition. Going plant based was actually easy after I understood all of the implications. - There is also a talk on YouTube by the same name, summarizing the book. Enjoy... I know I did when I learned that gladiators were fed a plant based diet, (known through archeological studies). Yet, were also some of the fiercest warriors that the world has ever known; who according to modern day bro-scientists, lacked protein. 🤷‍♂️ - Well, someone please try and explain to me how I’m lacking protein after five years on a plant based diet. 6”2, 210 lbs body. Get this, one guy actually told me that the reason I am so strong and athletic despite not eating meat, is because I have a strong mind. Because sometimes you crave cheese. Thanks for this recipient for vegan mozzarella @vegainsfood ・・・ Vegan Mozzarella with basically just 3 ingredients 😍 The consistency is literally like mozzarella! And you can make it even more flavorful by adding more spices, nutritional yeast or vinegar. But trust me, this simple recipe already tastes so like real mozzarella. Follow @vegainsfood for more ✨ - Ingredients: 100g cashews 2 tbsp psyllium husks 400ml water 2 tbsp lemon juice seasoning - Instructions: Soak cashews for 2h in warm water. Before blending drain cashews. - Soak 2 tbsp psyllium husks in 400ml water, whisk and let it sit for 2h as well so it gets a jelly-like texture. - Put all ingredients in a blender and blend for 1 minute. - Put the mass in a bowl and let it sit in the fridge for 1h. - Throw the vegan mozzarella from one bowl to another (so its upside down) and serve with chili flakes, balsamic and tomatoes, or whatever you desire. - About fats: This huge portion of vegan mozzarella is for about four people. And they stuck together wayyyy better!⁣ ⁣ Combine in a medium bowl:⁣ 70g coconut flour⁣ 120g biosteel plant based chocolate protein⁣ 35g oat flour ⁣ 20g @pb2foods 60g Peanut Butter⁣ 40g @lilys_sweets Chocolate chips⁣ 20g @lakanto classic monk fruit sweetener(it’s at costco now!)⁣ 1/4-3/4 cup unsweetened nut mylk of choice⁣ ⁣ Combine all in a bowl, but add the mylk slowly and stir until it becomes slightly crumbly, be careful not too add too much! INGREDIENTS: 1.5 cups almond meal ½ gluten free plain flour 1.5 tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt ½ cup coconut sugar ½ tsp cinnamon ½ tsp nutmeg ¼ tsp ginger 1 tsp vanilla extract/stevia ⅓ cup almond milk (I always use @nourishandcare almond milk) ⅓ cup @organicroad coconut oil, at room temperature (should be slightly solid, or can sub for nutelex) 1 flax egg ⅓ cup raisins ¼ chopped walnuts (optional) Dairy-Free White Chocolate, melted (for crosses) . . METHOD: 1️⃣Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius, fan-forced. 2️⃣Cream the sugar, coconut oil, flax egg, and vanilla. 3️⃣Add the salt and milk, and stir. Then add the almond meal, flour, baking powder and spices and combine with spatula. Lastly, fold through the raisins and walnuts (optional). 4️⃣Refrigerate batter for 20 minutes. 5️⃣Scoop out a tbsp of mixture at a time, roll into balls and place of a lined baking tray. Flatten cookies with the back of a slightly wet fork. 6️⃣Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden. 7️⃣Allow to cool and then pipe on crosses with the melted white chocolate. . . 🍠🥑 Stuffed Sweet Potatoes with White Bean and Guacamole! 📷 by @twospoons.ca 🚨🚨Recipe: 4 sweet potatoes 1 tbsp neutral oil (optional) 2 avocados 1/2 lemon , juiced pinch sea salt 2 green onions 2 cups white beans Signature Citrus Tahini Dressing 2 tbsp tahini 1/2 lemon , juiced pinch sea salt water , to thin 1. Turn oven to 400F/200C. Using a fork, poke small holes in sweet potatoes going all the way round, about 1-inch apart. Line baking tray with parchment paper, and place sweet potatoes on top. Optional to paint with neutral oil (for crispier skin). Bake for 40 minutes, or until cooked through. 2. Mash avocado in a bowl with lemon juice and a pinch of sea salt. Finely chop green onion. 3. To make the citrus tahini dressing: combine tahini, lemon juice and a pinch sea salt in a bowl. Mix together to combine, then add splashes of water until you've reached desired consistency, (about 2 tbsp). 4. Cut sweet potatoes in half and fill with white beans, and mashed avocado. Sprinkle with green onion, and drizzle with citrus tahini dressing. Today in vegan batch cooking...a veganized & lower sodium version of The Pioneer Woman’s Mexican Rice recipe and one of my all time favorite soups, this is a half batch of @theveganroadie’s excellent Smoky Carrot Ginger Soup. Both dishes used up some of my homemade veggie broth I made (and froze) last month from leftover veggie scraps, and the Mexican rice used up some of my pantry stash of RoTel, canned tomatoes and rice and the soup used up some of my aging carrots that needed to be used. Recipe 1/2 eggplant diced 1 large zucchini diced 1 bell pepper diced 1/2 tsp each salt, pepper 1/4 cup oil 1 block extra firm tofu, pat dry and cut into 1 cm cubes 1 tsp each garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, oregano, chili powder 1 T hoisin sauce Chimichurri (blend the following): 1/2 bunch cilantro 1/2 bunch parsley Juice of 1 lemon, splash of apple cider vinegar 1/4 cup olive oil 1 T minced jalapeno pepper Salt, pepper 3 cloves minced garlic Potatoes sliced into small wedges, drizzled with oil, dried oregano, oil, and generous sprinkling of salt. Optional sliced tomatoes for garnish. Directions: In large bowl, mix oil and spices. Add tofu cubes, gently toss to coat. Remove tofu and spread onto sheet pan. Place potatoe wedges next to tofu. On a second sheet pan, spread out veggies and drizzle remaining oil/spice mixture onto them, and toss. In 400 degree oven, bake for about 40 minutes, flipping after 20 minutes. When veggies have cooled slightly, gently toss them with the hoisin sauce. quarantine has given me the time to perfect & fall head over heels in love with my homemade iced matcha ‘recipe’🍵 I’ve always loved the taste of matcha, and occasionally treat myself to a matcha latte at coffee shops...but at $5 a pop it’s just not a sustainable habit for me😅 besides the taste, matcha is known to be high in antioxidants and to give you more of an ‘alert calm’ feeling, instead of the jittery caffeine rush that you get from coffee (Not hating, I’m still a big coffee fan). I decided to buy some matcha to make at home, and this is how I’ve been enjoying it👇🏼 . . . Iced Matcha . 🍵1 tsp matcha (I use @pantenger ) 🍵 1/2 tsp maple syrup 🍵 3oz hot, but not boiling, water 🍵 Ice 🍵 6oz cold water 🍵 4oz oat milk (soy & coconut are my other favorites) . 1. In a small bowl, add matcha and maple syrup and then pour the 3oz of hot water over the top. 2. Whisk, using a ‘W’ motion, until foamy. A matcha whisk works best but you can make due with whatever you have! 3. In a cup, add ice as well as your cold water and oat milk. I like to froth my milk first but it’s not necessary. 4. Pour the matcha mixture over the top of everything in the glass and stir to combine. 5. Enjoy😌

Creamy Rosé Tomato Basil Sauce by @daisybeet 🧡 Tag someone who loves pasta! ​ Recipe (Serves 3-4) . Ingredients 1 cup raw cashews 2 1/2 cups warm water, divided 1 tbsp olive oil 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 a white onion, diced 1/2 cup dry rosé wine 3 good large tomatoes, chopped 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped 1 tsbp lemon juice Salt Pepper 4 oz whole wheat rigatoni Instructions . Follow us for daily inspiration🌱: 👉@savage.vegan.recipes 👈 . Soak cashews in 2 cups of warm water, ideally overnight, but for at least 30 minutes. To make cashew cream, drain soaked cashews and add them to a high powdered blender or food processor. Add remaining 1/2 cup water and a dash of salt. Blend for 2-3 minutes until super creamy, taking time to stop and scrape down the edges. Pour into a bowl and set aside, and rinse out blender. Heat olive oil in a large shallow pan over medium heat. Add garlic, onion, and a generous grind of salt and pepper. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until onion is translucent, being careful not to burn the garlic. Add rosé to the pan and turn up the heat a bit. Cook until liquid has reduced by half, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add tomatoes and basil, reduce to a simmer, and cook for 15-20 minutes until tomatoes are broken apart and super soft, stirring occasionally. Remove sauce from heat and add to your blender (you can also use an immersion blender). Blend on high until sauce is creamy. Pour sauce back into your pan, and stir in the cashew cream. Add lemon juice and more salt and pepper to taste. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and pour directly into sauce pan, and stir gently to coat evenly.

Lentil pasta made with simple pantry ingredients by @earthofmariaa 🧡 . 1 medium onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 medium carrot, chopped 1 cup (76g) mushrooms, chopped 1 red bell pepper, chopped 1 tsp basil 1 tsp turmeric 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp salt 1 cup (100g) red lentils 1 can (400g) chopped tomatoes 2 cups (200g) gluten-free pasta ½ can (120ml) coconut milk 1 cup water 2 tbsp tamari 2 cups (134g) kale Add the onion and the garlic to a large saucepan or frying pan, and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until softened. Add the carrot, mushrooms and bell pepper. Sauté for a further 2-3 minutes, before stirring in the basil, turmeric, paprika and salt. Stir to coat the vegetables, then add the red lentils, chopped tomatoes, pasta, coconut milk, water and tamari. If you have a pressure cooker or insta pot they’re much easier to digest and cook faster. Here is my very own recipe for homemade beans: 1 cup of white beans 2 cups of Veggie Broth 2 cups of Water 1 tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar 1 Tbls of Cumin 1 Tbls of chili power Pinch of cayenne Chop some veggies and throw them in too! Perfect for the days that you want a healthy meal but don’t want to spend too much time making it. *** It’s also really low calorie for the girlies that want to burn off some of those extra quarantine snacks (ME). ——— Ingredients : one large zucchini *spiralized*, pasta sauce & your fav veggie burger. • • See where I’m going with this? Cook the burger, chop it up, add pasta sauce, sauté the zucchini separately for about 2 mins. & plate it up. That’s it 😋. ——— I’ll have a video up on my highlights ✨.

Vegan CIABATTA Olive BREAD!😋TAG someone who needs to do this for YOU!🌱 ➖ 👉  As you may have seen in my STORIES yesterday (make sure to watch my stories 😏) I / more like my mom baked 😂 a DELICIOUS CIABATTA BREAD! I thought that this recipe can be even better if we add olives and some Mediterranean herbs! Et voila here it is! SAVE & SHARE today's BREAD recipe! 😍 ➖ ALL INGREDIENTS: 4 1/4 cups Ciabatta flour (bread flour) 2 cups of water 1/4 teaspoon of instant yeast (if the flour you buy already has yeast in it, you can leave it this one out) 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt 1/2 teaspoon olive oil 120g Mixed Olives 1 tablespoon dried Mediterranean herbs ➖ 👉 HOW TO: In a bowl, combine the yeast and the warm water. Cover with plastic or with a kitchen towel and let it proof for at least 5 minutes. In another bowl combine the salt and the bread flour. (if you buy flour that already has yeast in it then you do not need to add extra yeast!) Mix everything either with your hands or stand mixer together. Add the yeast/water mixture and mix on low until a shaggy dough forms. Cover bowl with plastic or a towel and let the dough rise at a warm place for around 1 hour, time depends on the flour and how the dough rises. Preheat oven to 200 C°. Now, put the dough onto a floured surface. Sprinkle 1/3 of the chopped olives on top and fold the dough once. Repeat two more times until you've used all the Olives and sprinkle some Mediterranean herbs on it as well. Then, form a ball with floured hands. Cover the dough loosely with plastic and let rest for at least 30 minutes (another hour or two recommended), until doubled in size, while the dutch oven preheat. Once the Dutch oven has preheated, transfer the dough ball into the heated Dutch oven. Cover with the lid and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the lid and bake, uncovered, for 15 more minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy this yummy bread recipe! 🙌🌱 ➖ ◾ FOLLOW @plantsforfit
