Chickpea pizza crust by @bos.kitchen ❤ Follow @vegangotgame for more delicious vegan recipes!💚💚#vegangotgame Recipe:⠀ Ingredients⠀ 1 cup chickpea flour ⠀ 1/2 tsp salt ⠀ 1 tsp baking powder ⠀ 1 cup warm water⠀ ⠀ Instructions⠀ Preheat oven to 200C/400F and line a 11x7” baking tray. Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend on high until smooth. If you don’t have a food processor, mix well with a fork in a jug. Pour into prepared tray and bake for 10 mins. Top with sauce and veggies, then return to oven for a further 10 mins. Enjoy!

Banana-o-na-na (Banana bread) 🇺🇸/🇨🇿 1. In a bowl, mash 4 large bananas and add 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed, 1/3 cup plant-based milk, 1/3 cup melted coconut oil, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, dash of cinnamon. Stir until it’s combined. 2. Now for the dry ingredients - start adding them into the banana mixture: 1/4 cup cane sugar, 1/2 rolled oats, dash of baking powder, pinch of salt, 1 1/2 whole-grain flour. 3. Take the loaf tin and start filling it up with the dough. I like to stop halfway and throw in some sliced bananas - then I fill it up with the rest of the dough. 4. Bake for 45/50minutes. (350F/180C) 1. V misce rozmačkej 4 velký banány a přidej 2 lžíce namletých lněných semínek, 1/3 hrnku rostlinného mlíka, 1/3 rozehřátého kokosového oleje, 2 lžíce javorového sirupu, 2 lžičky vanilkového extraktu, trochu skořice. Míchej dokud to není pěkně promíchaný. 2. Ty suchý věci: začni je postupně přidávat do banánovýho mixu, 1/4 hrnku třtinového cukru, 1/2 hrnku ovesných vloček, trochu prášku na pečení, špetku soli a 1 1/2 hrnku celozrnné mouky. 3. Vem si formu na chlebík a začni to tam postupně ládovat. Ráda zastavím tak v půlce těsta a proložím to plátky banánu, pak tam dám zbytek těsta. 4. Peč 45/50 minut. Coconut Curry No-Chicken Salad Probably the best plant-based chicken salad you’ve ever had. There, I said it. 1/3 cup cashews 1 14oz can drained chickpeas 8 dates, chopped 1c celery, diced 1 apple, chopped ¼c red onion, diced ¼c cilantro, chopped 1 Tbs orange zest 4 Tbs vegan mayo 1 Tbs maple syrup 2 tsp apple cider vinegar 1 Tbs yellow curry powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper Toast cashews and coconut over low heat, until golden and fragrant. Place all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix. That's it. There isn't any more. The flavors will deepen the longer this sits so store in the fridge until ready to eat. Je ne suis qu'une bébé maîtresse, et je peux vous dire que toute ma vie je me souviendrais de la façon dont se sont passés mes premiers pas dans ce métier mais je le vois dans mes emails, dans nos échanges avec les collègues, les parents changent de regard sur ce métier rendu tellement ingrat au fil du temps. . C'est sur, ce confinement, ce virus aura permis de montrer à notre société entière, que notre système globalement nourrit allègrement des métiers qui brassent du vent. Que les personnes les plus essentielles sont les plus meprisées. . Ce virus aura aussi permis de montrer qu'il est peut être vraiment tant de réfléchir à ce qui est mis dans nos assiettes. Est ce qu'un plaisir furtif et gustatif méritait véritablement de mettre une population mondiale en danger ? . Je sais que le racisme anti chinois redouble de puissance, je l'ai entendu ce matin en faisant mes courses. Ils ont une responsabilité évidente mais faisons nous mieux finalement ? . Balayons devant nos portes et restons humbles car en France encore, manger de la chaire morte est encore bien ancrée. VEGAN SHEPHERDS PIE 🥧 So @meatlessfarm kindly #gifted me some of their meatless mince to try out and coming from a family who loves meat I’m always up for trying to create meals with meat alternatives which make them happy and make me happy!! So I decided I would try to make a shepherds pie but my mums partner is hella fussy and doesn’t like sweet potatoes (how) soo I did half of the pie topped with white potato mash and half with sweet potato mash and I don’t mean to toot my own horn but this tasted SO GOOD i wasn’t expecting it to be this amazing, the flavours were absolutely insane 😍😍 • RECIPE🥧 TOP Mashed white or sweet potatoes salt&pepper to taste 2 tbsp vegan butter Thyme -just peel, boil the potatoes then mash with these ingredients FILLING Tbsp Coconut oil 1 chopped onion Meatless mince 2 tbsp minced garlic mushrooms carrots frozen veg mix cauliflower 1 chopped big tomato 300ml vegetable stock Tbsp sun dried tomato paste 3 tbsp tomato purée Juice of 1 lemon Splash of vinegar Splash of soy sauce Rosemary Thyme coriander -basically just add all the ingredients in this order frying/cooking as you go -assemble your pie in an oven proof dish then I baked in the oven for 40 mins but may need longer/less time depending on how thick your layer of mash is!😎 • This was sooo good and my family absolutely loved it too they were so impressed!! The mince isn’t chewy like meat mince is and is more of a softer texture but with all the flavourings it still gives that sort of meaty flavour and texture that you want for something like a shepherds pie or spaghetti bolognese 🍝 These packs come in at £3 and “serve 4”, which isn’t too bad, still cheaper than buying a pack of meat mince for the same size! Although I think it’s only enough to serve 4 (like this meal did) because of the extra volume added by all the other ingredients 👍🏼 My family have already agreed for me to make this again which I great way to keep them happy (because it’s “meaty”) but also keep me and the planet happy, every change is a good change!! 🌎🤪

White Garlic Spinach and Mushroom Pizza Ingredients: For Dough: 1 cup almond flour 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 tbsp baking powder ½ tbsp salt ¼ tbsp coconut sugar 1 tsp olive oil 2/3 cup water For Sauce: 1 cup cashews, soaked 1 ½ teaspoons minced garlic (or 3 cloves) 2 cups water ½ tsp salt 4 tbsp nutritional yeast 1 tsp basil 1 tsp parsley 2 tbsp plant based butter 3 tbsp all-purpose flour black pepper to taste Topping ingredients: 1 tsp coconut oil 8 oz spinach 8 oz mushrooms 1 small onion, sliced ½ tsp garlic salt ½ tsp basil ½ tsp parsley vegan mozzarella To make dough: Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Slowly add olive oil and water and knead until the dough has a smooth consistency. I let the dough rest in the fridge for about an hour, but this step is optional as this is a yeast-free recipe. To make sauce: Blend cashews, garlic, water, salt, nutritional yeast, basil, and parsley on high power until smooth. Make a roux with butter and flour by melting better over medium-low heat and whisking in the flour. Let simmer for about 3 minutes. Slowly whisk in garlic mixture and let simmer for about 5 minutes. For pizza: Preheat oven to 450. Melt coconut oil in pan over medium-low heat. Saute onion and mushrooms. Stir in garlic salt, basil, and parsley while veggies cook. Add spinach to the pan just as onions are beginning to soften and allow it to wilt. Mix all but about ¼ cup of veggies into sauce. Roll out pizza dough to desired thickness and top with sauce mixture. Cover with vegan mozzarella cheese and top with remaining veggies. oatmeal breakfast cups— makes 12 ☼ 2.5 c rolled oats ☼ 2 bananas, mashed ☼ 1/2 tsp salt ☼ 1 tbs honey ☼ 1 c + 2 tsp water ☼ 2 tbs coconut oil, melted ☼ 1 tsp vanilla extract ☼ optional add ins: chocolate chips, walnuts, chia seeds, flax/hemp blend, almond butter, coconut flakes, dried fruit... really whatever you like! . 🌿begin by preheating your oven to 380° and lining your muffin tin— in a medium sized bowl, mix together all of your dry ingredients. in a separate bowl, mix together your wet ingredients (including the mashed banana). slowly combine the wet ingredients with the dry + add in whatever extras you chose! fill each cup about half way and bake for 21 minutes. best right out of the oven with a cold glass of almond milk🥛 for this recipe I chose to split the batter into four so that I could try a bunch of different add ins while baking just one batch! some are plain with no add ins, some have almond butter + chocolate chips, some have walnuts, and some have chia seeds... needless to say they were all amazing😋

SUNSHINE THROWBACK ☀️ - - I swear the sun has just disappeared in the last few days?!? 🌞 Which I’m a little sad about because I always feel better when it’s sunny! - - This was my lunch from the other day, once again using up whatever is in my fridge. It took me 6 stores and full week to get my hands on some extra firm tofu! Silken is all there is with some firm options available. Not my favorite! To satisfy my tofu cravings I marinated it overnight in vegan fish sauce, soy sauce, garlic and onion powder, balsamic vinegar, hot sauce, and a dash of maple syrup. Results: it tastes like fish in a good way, minus the flakiness.

People always ask me what I cook at home and the truth is very simple nourishing food. Sure there will be times when I make things I would normally cook when working as a private chef, but for the most part it is plants with minimal fuss. I like to taste the earthy grain, the sweet starchy beans, each vegetable with their own unique personality and the heaviness of fat like avocado and a nut or seed based sauce peppered with some boosters like fresh herbs, garlic, seaweed and citrus just to name a few. Steamed vegetables are always my go to combined with a grain such as kasha (roasted buckwheat). Wholegrains are important sources of vegetable lignins, which are plant compounds that have anti-tumor and antioxidant properties (think flax seeds). Millet and roasted buckwheat are the only grains that have an alkaline effect on the body. We want alkaline. An acidic environment in our system promotes disease. It is also high in silica which improves calicum metabolism and is great for our nervous and cardiovascular system. Grains. The whole grain, with the bran in tact are more powerful than people realize. Oh and they don't make you fat. Try this orange chai tea spice blend. 1 part whole cloves 1 part whole peppercorns ½ part star anise 1 part cardamom seeds 1 part coriander seeds 1 part cinnamon sticks 2 parts fresh ginger 3 parts dried orange peels Loose leaf black tea I usually just estimate the ingredients. You don’t need much star anise, because it is strong. You can make a large jar of the loose tea blend, then measure out a little bit each time you make tea. Enjoy!

ERASABLE PLASTIC CRAYONS 🖍 Mr. J just broke 3 of his brand new crayons😧 They’re great because they are erasable and he loves the smoothness of the outcome, but they’re still too thin for his tiny hands. Disadvantage of plastic crayons: they don’t give out as much color as compared to wax, therefore the color comes out really light. He felt the need to apply more pressure while coloring to achieve the same vibrance he’s so used to. The 3rd picture was sketched by his big sissy😍@j.llustration
